I live in LA now. Its rough. Traffic is hell. My first post college graphic design jop was in Burbank, an hour and a half ride both ways, 3 hours of your day just gone. No. It's expensive, I hate the heat, I hate bougie people, and I hate the culture of worshipping In N Out and Kobe Bryant. Taco trucks and attractive women are the ONLY positives -- and even then, most of those attractive women are probably from Mexico, so you could get that same benefit living anywhere else on the border. ... No way. I go to LA for work a lot and that's enough for me. Too expensive, too much driving/traffic, awful smog, too hot, not into the Hollywood hustle culture where everyone is trying to pitch you their script idea. Love the great Mexican and Korean food though. ... Copied to Clipboard!
