Like in every fighting game, there's always that one person who demands a forgotten character or character that was never playable to return even if the character is a joke. For example, DBFZ has been asking for Bulma to be added to the game.

I was pretty good at Soul Calibur back in the day. Though the only one I played against was brother and occassionally dad. The new one not so much.

Im hoping it will be out soon, maybe within six months would be nice.

Theyve been rolling out the character intro vids pretty regularly, so Im optimistic. Would love to see an original character pop up, but Yoshi or Alex would be great too.

Pick a character you like the look off and look up the / most common used moves
Repeat until you find a character you like

Stop trying to do 5-6 hit juggles with rebounds and Wall carries
Just focus on the basics of your character and getting used to fundementals like spaceing, movement punishment, etc

I was alright. Could consistently beat casual players, but didn't stand a chance against really serious opponents. By far my best character was Alisa, but I was alright with Lili, Leo and Lars too.

Soulcalibur is a breeze compared to Tekken tbh

Also this is really like, bad Mr Miyagi advice. You actually should have some combos. If I'm fighting someone equally good at spacing and movement and such, they need way less interactions to win than I do. I have to fight harder for no reason other than stubbornness this way. If anything the combos are the easiest part to learn.

I do have 112 hit confirms and I mixup between hellsweep or ff3 with sometimes other options like cr 4, db3 or 4, ff4 (esp if they stay on the ground), df2, with some other moves. The mixup of hellsweep or ff3 is pretty good but it only works if I know when they're exactly gonna get up so a lot of times I only get a ff4 and then they're safely away.

A major aspect too is just defense. So many strings into 50/50s, or strings into stances into 50/50s, or high crush strings and high crush stances into 50/50s or grabs that idk how to break.

I will say this, fighting games are hard to get into because it's a 1vs1 interaction which means there's a high likely hood that you're going to lose in a lot of your matches and that's the hardest part for a lot of people to get over. I certainly lost a lot of my matches when playing Third Strike, but I honestly think it made me a "stronger" person because of it.
