back hurts like hell

I learned very early yesterday afternoon that my dad had passed away yesterday morning. It was very unexpected, we thought he had a little more time left. I cried a little bit, but it hasn't really hit me yet. Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes. I'm gonna go dark for a while.

I got to leave work at fucking 3 pm on Friday, it was amazing. I have some free time again... So I'm replaying all of Final Fantasy 14

Well eventually, the early parts are kinda anus. Not really that bad but it's a slog to get to the hype as fuck stuff.

it really does drag off and on until you get to the 1st expansion.

The last like 10 levels of the base game are great, then the pre-expansion stuff is boring as hell until the last patch or two, then the expansions are straight up awesome

the pre-first expansion stuff is a lot to get through. i kept burning out trying to get through it, but eventually i did

Had a first aid course today

Had to drive stick shift to get there and back tho, which sucked

I haven't driven stick in like 10 years and i don't miss it

What a coincidence, I also hadn't driven stick in 10 years before today

it's somehow easy as hell and the hardest thing i've ever done

Ended up going to bed at 9 last night due to work kicking my ass
