I'd get a Ferrari F40

A couple spare engines

And then rebuild the first one using custom parts, or possibly use a different engine altogether.

And then get molds of the body panels to recreate them

Probably gonna be like a $15 million project with the goal of trying to make the car run forever, and destroying its collecter value in the process. As a dream car, I want to drive it. It dies with me.

More attainable than you'd think. There's a glut of Corvettes every Mecum and Barret Jackson auction. Prices tend to be lower than you'd expect since "well, there's about five more behind it and probably even more to come."

Yep the Corvettes at least still aren't astronomically priced like older Mopoar cars. I think it would come down to maintaining a car like that, as opposed to something like a C5 or newer where parts are easy AF to find.

I drove a 2006 Mercury Milan that cost me $3000 for 5 years. It was never once in the shop and it had 225,000 miles on it.

Now I have a 2016 Nissan Sentra that has 62,000 miles.
