I don't have any issues drinking just water, but I would think drinking flavored seltzer water or diet soda would be a fine option. Calories in/calories out is the most important. I wouldn't put too much stock in that recent study getting headlines about sugar alcohol causing heart disease, it's just one study and countless others over the last few decades show opposite results.

I was just talking about water replacement CICO, water has 0 calories, so you want a 0 or low calorie substitute. For CICO with regards to a full diet or meals, it is best to plug your food into Cronometer and make sure you are getting the correct amount of macros/micros

For you guys who go to the gym, how far is the gym from you. I have near by out it doesn't have a pool. And the one that does have pool is like 20 min drive from me.

I have a gym, in pretty much any direction, only ~15 minutes away.

I used to go, but I dont like using them anymore. You gotta pay and there are so many distractions, but I understand some people really benefit from them because of certain machines, weights or classes. I prefer the outdoors now and have some dumbbells at home. If I was trying to be a power lifter or maybe a gymnast, then thatd be different.

My Doctors they don't no what it is. I had these spells like to times this week. One time I fell out of my garage and rolled out on my lawn and was down for a little while. This is the first time I typed it out and it sounds horrible. Like I just tried to forget about it, but talking about it makes me think of how bad it really was .

Went from having take out every day to twice a week.

I feel like that's had the biggest impact on my weight loss. I used to be able to put exercise a shitty diet, but now that I'm 30, I can't anymore

I don't know if they have this store where you live. But there is place called Food Lion. And they have this Oreo parfait, that your post reminded me of. It is mostly whipped cream so you get what feels like a lot but not a lot of a cals.

My trouble with my diet is binging. I have plenty of healthy low-cal meals, and low-cal treats too. But it's the "hmm I should go buy and eat an entire tray of caramel shortcake" that gets me. I know it's just a pyschological thing. I don't even enjoy it.

Have you ever spoken with someone about this? IF there is something making you eat when you don't want to , that is not good.

So I have made the choice to run a 1/2 marathon. I think training for that would be my ticket to weight loss. So I guess if this stays alive, I will track my progress here.

Down to 177.2lbs as of today. Hoping to hit 150 lbs by June 1st. Was at like 194.8 January 1st and knew it was time to do something about it. While most of January and part of February I didn't lose it in the healthiest ways so far, now that I'm back on normal eating habits, it's been like 1-2 pounds a week.

I did one before around 6 years ago. I have really fallen off on very thing since then. However this is a target I can push for to try to get things back on track.

Thanks for that. The last time I did one. I was running just behind this old lady. So I knew if I stayed with her I would not come in last. Because at the last part of the I would go all out and over take her in the end.

Bought a fancy new scale because my old one broke because my wife knocked something on it and cracked the screen. The new one's numbers do not match the ones on my old scale. I'm like 5 lbs heavier on it. Quite a blow to my ego.

Headed in the direction I want though. So that's good.
