Were got twenty minutes, we only got 3 episodes left. We know left behind and the dlc are getting some screen time so Im assuming theyll be the next two episodes before the finale.

The end definitely wasn't as awesome as the game but I get why they changed it since they've toned down the violence in general.

I don't think the girl is actually supposed to be Dina since they'd definitely wait to cast her til they actually do season 2 but it's definitely supposed to be a little wink to the audience that played Part II.

Joel and Tommy's talk was nice. Reminded me of them talking to each other at the start of Part II. Love their relationship. And neat to see them humanizing Joel more through the show.

Honestly didn't remember what Maria looked like in the game, so her being Black was a non-issue. (I mean, it would've been a non-issue anyway, I just think it's funny that I literally didn't remember her)

So 7 will be the section you play as Ellie and then it'll lead into the hospital.

9 will be the massacre at the hospital, return to Jackson, and set up for season 2. Possibly a scream/nod/cameo from darkness to hint that Abby, Owen, and gang are coming.

Kind of a boring episode tbh. The Tommy actor seems really wooden.

I really love how some things are virtually line for line and scene for scene from the game, while others the took the license to make the storytelling better than it was in the game.

Loved this episode. Was amusing and heartbreaking, loved the teasing to TLOU2 with Tommy's town looking like it was in Part 2 along with a brief character who looked/seemed like it might've been a Dina tease.

I think I might prefer how Joel was injured on the show than he was in the game.

in the game, it was something that would seem fatal, especially in that kind of world, with a lack of medical supplies and professionals...but this also looks bad, so idk.

The show does a really good job of making you care for people. It reminds me of the first season of true detective. Its like youre watching your close friends go through various emotional stages

A little disappointed that "You're treading on some mighty thin ice" didn't make it into the show, but the rest of that scene was perfectly done.

I really enjoyed this episode

I actually really liked the old people in the beginning. They just seem kind of funny.
I love the way Pedro breaks down Joel when he has a heart to heart with Tommy. It makes Joel seem human that there are some walls broken, and he needed someone to talk to that knew where he was coming from. Great acting from Bella as well. Just loved how she reacted when she learned about Joel dumping her on Tommy. I was surprised about Maria being pregnant. That's really different from the game. But it's an interesting trigger for Joel since Tommy is having everything Joel wanted and lost. The fight scene was kind of short, but they didn't really have time for that. Glad they didn't injury Joel the same way as they did in the game. And they built up that scene pretty well. Look forward to the next episodes.

Loved the episode. Plus I haven't finished the first game lol so this is all new territory. Great series

Joel is just human. No weaker than he was in the game, just actually reacting like someone who's gone through an apocalypse might react.

Nice how men show that they are ignorant of womens menstrual needs. It was a reusable cup to be using during a womans period. Because as anyone who watched the episode where Ellie found the tampons would realize, menstrual products are hard to find when no one is making them.
