Ivy is one of my best units. A total speed merchant with alacrity. Same with Merrin. Also thanks gpg for the tip on Panette -> wyvern rider!

Let's assume that the JP only games were never getting additonal reps because they want the DLC to be more globally available. If the DLC is correct, FE7 will have two reps, FE8 will have 1 rep, FE9/10 would have 2 without Soren, Awakening would have 2 reps, Fates would have 2 reps, SoV would have 1 rep, and 3H would have 2 reps. So really the games most due would be FE8, SoV and Tellius (averages to 1 rep per game). Frankly FE8 doesn't really have notable characters outside of the Twins. I'm also assuming they wanted a reasonable balance between magic and physical Emblems (sorry Alm, who in my opinion is getting the rawest deal here), so that really leaves Tellius. I personally think Elincia is the more important choice, but Soren is probably the most popular magic character in Tellius. And probably the most popular magic character between FE8, SoV, and Tellius. And 3 characters between two games is still below average.

I believe Soren was chosen over Elincia because otherwise all magic oriented emblems would be female.

She has a surprisingly deep voice but it sounds fine to me. She's also a musclehead like Alfred.

The way the game handles tome proficiency it would definitely feel like it was designed to sell DLC if they suddenly have DLC emblems with it.

I feel like if that was their plan they would have had a magic emblem in phase one.

But really, I feel like only Anna is truly harmed my the difficulty of getting tome profiency in mid game and even that is like a first run problem.

I feel like slotting in a New Game + like in 3H would have been a really easy thing and great fun thing to do, at least transfer over bond levels + learned skills + maybe the extra rings. I'm not quite at the end yet but these few things seem like such a grind

I just realized a roadblock with a potential all-waifu run.

NO DANCER since the Dancer in this game is male.

And considering how integral Dancer is in my late-game strategies...might have to do that run on Normal lol.

Speaking of dancing, the Goddess Dance is a broken ability and I love it.

I beat chapter 20 with (surprisingly) no one going down to Griss teleporting around like a madman, so now I'm working on 21.

I'm not worried since I honestly haven't used Seadall at all since the chapter after the one he was introduced. I'd rather just have the extra body over a dancer, especially with the limited amount of deployment slots this game gives you most of the time.

The way I see it, if I can only deploy 10 units, I'd rather deploy my best unit twice instead of my 10th best unit.

That's one way to look at it, ut it does come with the drawback of having to protect him and him basically doing nothing offensively or during the enemy's turn. I might try using him in a future playthrough if I do another one beyond my second girls-only run, but it's too late for him in my current run.

Speech impediment, basically. He emphasizes words at times but it often means nothing at all. Just a tick or something.

How are you doing this? Are stat boosters easy to come by or can you just reclass and reset your level like in previous games (i'm only on chapter 17)
