I'm kinda skeptical. JI's work doesn't translate super well to animated form overall. I think a lot of it is because a big draw of his stories comes from the visuals, which work a lot better as stills and which are really hard to actually animate. Honestly, a lot of the actual plots are often kind of silly (though there are some fantastic ones in there too, don't get me wrong), including some of the ones that they picked for this series judging by the trailer. Don't get me wrong, I love Junji Ito stuff overall, but I can understand why it doesn't usually work in animated form, so I'm kind of critical of this one as well out of the gate. --- https://www.youtube.com/user/dotsdfe I make Fire Emblem videos.
