This tbh. And emphasis on the "maybe"; I wouldn't rule out the possibility that I'd be able to do it, but I sure as fuck wouldn't count on it if I had a better option (like, y'kno, a trained pilot) available.

I used to play a lot of Microsoft Flight Simulator using a joystick so I could. Actual airliners are much more complicated I'm sure, but I can be guided by air traffic control more easily than the average person, I feel.

I think this was on MythBusters.

With guidance talking you through it, they were able to land the plane in a simulator without any problems.

Yeah, I remember that. They tried unaided and it was a predictable disaster. Then they tried again with someone playing the part of an air traffic controller walking them through and they both landed safely if I recall.
