I think that some of the Resident Evils are good, but it's not because of their narratives.

their strengths come from atmosphere, level design, and gameplay, and the story is just there to get the player from point A to B.

Resident Evil adaptations have significantly less to work with than what The Last of Us does to be fair.

They may have missed out on the fame, but unless I'm mistaken, most of them were very successful financially.

Dredd has like 10 minutes of plot and its fantastic

literally jam a swat team in a mansion with death traps and zombies and you have a resident evil movie

All the Resident Evil movies were made by the same person. He doesn't care what the game fans think. The movies were made to make his wife a star. The main actress is married to the director or producer

I love Resident Evil, but its plot is b-level schlock. It's never going to transfer to film or tv if the creators try to do anything remotely serious with it.

The Netflix series was well done idgaf what anyone says. But the games have always had terrible plots so fans kept bitching for no reason.

If it's good that's great but I have no interest in this IP x_x
