--Zero- 01/14/23 2:05:26 PM #1:	I read this was a 40+ hour game and Im only on Ch1 still and its not doing a good job making me care about these characters. The gameplay is all auto battle and Im just running forward for the most part. Is this supposed to mainly be a cinematic game? Son_Of_Spam 01/14/23 2:21:17 PM #6:	As others mentioned, it opens up in chapter 11. The sequel XIII-2 opens up much sooner, and I'd say overall has much better gameplay. The lore surrounding the deities/pantheon like Bhunivelze, Etro, etc. are kinda neat to me but the stuff actually going on in the games are kinda meh. Jiek_Fafn 01/14/23 2:33:53 PM #14:	XIII-2 has a top tier FF antagonist. They kind of carry the show. That game simultaneously takes it's self too seriously and not seriously enough. That said, it's one if my favorite FF games. Don't take the series being 3 games as a symbol of quality. Each game sold like half of the one before it.
