Damar Hamlin has been discharged from the hospital

Lamar Jackson also has the same problem cam newton had imo: He's not accurate. His legs are a weapon and it helps open up chances for him, but he does struggle at times (think he was ranked 26th out of 32 teams in % this season) and it's in line with his career %. It's not to the level of "Well he's an HB playing QB" and he is a bit better than Newton was, but it's the same deal. There's concerns about his pure passing ability I think.

They should still pay the man, you don't let a guy like that walk.

I don't think trading in conference is that big of a deal in most cases.

But it would have been an extra layer of pain to see Brown on the Ravens, so I'm glad it didn't happen.

Mark Andrews is also probably a top 3 Tight End, so he at least has a weapon

Yeah, there's honestly no upside to Lamar playing at this point.

Only a desperate joke franchise will give Lamar Jackson a huge contract if he sits for an NFL playoff game when he's healthy enough to go. He's getting franchise tagged by Baltimore for at least next year if he doesn't go on a run in this year's playoffs anyway (unless Baltimore gives up on him).

If he doesn't play well against the Bengals, he has a built-in excuse. If he doesn't play at all, that's two years in a row where his team misses out on the playoffs because he can't play in the back half of the year.

I don't think it makes sense for him to sit out unless the injury is way more severe than what was reported, or he really wants to get out of Baltimore and doesn't care about playing meaningful games for the rest of his career.

Lamar will never play meaningful football again. I honestly don't think he will ever play a full 17 game season and be good to go for the playoffs. His ceiling is getting injured in Week 2 and coming back wildcard weekend.

I pray we don't give him the contract he wants. I think locking down Smith shows we won't.

I'd like to see Lamar on another team, so hopefully this is the beginning of the end in Baltimore.

Well, it is his last chance at redemption since he's played pretty mediocrely ever since week 3, and then missed the last 5 regular season games with an injury. I think you'd have to be foolish to give him the contract he wants after the season he had. Not to mention the fact that he's been declining every year since he won MVP.

He really has the Ravens in an awful situation. They can either trade him and play the QB lottery again, or sign him to a massive contract that he's probably not going to live up to, leading them to mediocrity like after Flacco signed that huge deal.

Yeah I dont envy the Ravens position. It sucks but I think theyre better off moving on.

Nah, he's better than RG3 as both a QB and a runner. RG3 was one of those dudes who didn't know how to take a hit.

I don't really think they should move on. If you move on, you're giving up a tremendous asset for nothing. And you'll suck. If you sign him, if he sucks, then you were gonna suck anyway for who cares. If you sign him, and he's good but you still suck or something, just trade him then. But you just can't give up guys like lamar for nothing.

Nah, they won't just let him walk for nothing. At worst, they'll franchise him and then try to trade him.

Ive been saying for weeks Staley will be fired at the end of the season if they dont do well in the playoffs. If they lose tomorrow Staley will be fired and the Chargers will get Payton

I think they give Staley more time since he did make the playoffs this year unless they get blown out or they lose because of a bad decision he is prone to make.
