It's pretty simple unless you're a moron. Just put a giant jumping sheet that firefighters use underneath it. Couldn't be any easier.

We just take the plane, and push it somewhere else!

I think the darkness makes it worse, imagine being up there in pitch black.

yeah I live about an hour away from Montgomery county, and our lights flickered a few times as it happened. Kinda freaked me out, only found out about an hour later why the lights wound up doing that. Was scared the power was gonna go out; last time that happened, I started having LOTS of trouble with my computer.

Anyway I hope everyone on the plane is alright. Last I checked there were no casualties (not sure if anyone got hurt though), but still... that's gotta be pretty frightening.

Yeah I'm in the affected area. Power has been out since ~5:45pm. Watching Rams-Chiefs one second and the next everything is pitch black. Walked outside to check the situation a little bit after that and the only lights outside are from cars. Traffic lights also out so it's the wild west on the roads with sirens going off every 10 or so minutes.

Second time I've lost power during the night (this will be 3 nights total) in the past month, where the first time it was because someone from the power company swapped my neighbor's smart meter with mine and it took a local electrician to figure it out after a company tech stopped by and just shrugged his shoulders. So I've been pretty fucking pissed for the past 4 hours ngl and I hope the idiot flying that plane faces some serious consequences.

I was on the road when this happened so I'm not sure this affected my home in Anne Arundel County, but it did affect my wife's aunt who lives in Rockville.

We stopped over there in Rockville to pick our daughter up and like someone said, it was the wild west. Kind of an eerie feeling when you're driving and you don't see any other lights besides cars.

Not even, in GTA the powerlines aren't solid objects.

Also, someone's losing a pilot's license, hopefully. Like Harrison Ford SHOULD given he does this sort of shit every time he touches an airplane now. For one thing, the transmission towers, which that plane appears to have smacked into actually from the video thumbnail, generally have safety lights on at night. Specifically for this reason.
