Just completely devoid of facts and logic.
Just yelling "groomer" about literally anything.
Acting like any child who even hears the word "drag queen" is instantly taken to a doctor against their will for gender affirming surgery.

That is a good summary of republicans.

busybody freakouts stem from two simple truths:

1. this is weird to me, and I'm scared!
2. I need government/religion/etc to control me, because I can't control myself!

It makes no sense when you notice the Republicans are the ones who want to have sex with children the most.

The only thing they have is hate. It's what drives them. It's also a tool used by those in power and a way to deflect hatred and scrutiny away from themselves by distracting poor people from realizing it's the rich who are the actual cause of most of the misery and woe around the world. There always has to be a scapegoat for the right to see as an enemy and crusade against because they're so brainwashed.

It really just boils to #2. #1 can be shifted to "my sense of morals are from the body that controls me and anything that they don't like is weird to me."

And it sadly leads to horrible acts of violence like the recent shooting in Colorado. We really need to start holding these talking heads accountable for the violence and murder they're inciting.
