They definitely announced it was shutting down I just don't know if they announced exact dates.

This is one of the reasons why I don't mess with mobile games. Stuff like this happens way too often

The game was okay from what I played of it. Pretty cool that it had Xenogears stuff

It's still the best implementation of the FF battle system by far.

And yeah, the shut down was known.

Imagine spending actual money on a game, only for it to eventually be taken offline and being rendered completely unplayable.

I already got burned by Miitomo in that regard; at least if/when Pokemon GO shuts down, I can transfer my Pokemon over to Pokemon HOME.

Yeah it was terrible. Ordering online + Digital > Going to a store trying to find a person who has the right keys for 10 minutes to unlock the game case

This isn't always a bad deal. There's more games that I never played again after beating them than games I still care about 5 years later. If anything RC was around longer than it deserved.

That sucks, but I'm not surprised this happened eventually. It was a decent game, but it didn't gain nearly as much popularity as Final Fantasy Brave Exvius did.

ya Im not gonna lie I take couple month breaks from it often enough but Ive been playing Summoners war for like 7 years now, since 2015.

i dont spend money on it anymore though I did in the 1st year but now for the amount Ive spent Ive got wayyyyyyy more bang for buck than most games I buy.

The game was shit from the start. I remember when it first came out the game was ridicously hard. If you started a battle with the boss going first, your party will die. You would have to reboot the game until you RNG get to go first to cast debuffs on the enemies and buff your party to survive and then engage the fight normally. It was dumb as fuck.

So weird that game was still going so many Gacha games came and gone in that time.
