I've been a front line worker as a youth support worker since it all began so I'm honestly shocked I avoided it this long.

Not much going on so far beyond feeling like I have a chest cold with a sore throat.

Wow youth support? I'm impressed you made it this long without getting it. Most people I know that work with kids have gotten it multiple times already.

Hopefully the symptoms are mild for you.

I've worked closely with youth who have it since the start. I felt it was an eventuality.

I've had the shot and two boosters so ideally it should be OK. Gives me a bit of anxiety but all you can do is rest.

That's good to hear you're fully boosted. I finally got it for the first time back in May, but it came two months after I got the first booster and my symptoms weren't that bad. Rest up, and hopefully you feel better soon.

Got a 100.5 fever now (38.1C)

Ugh, around 102 for my fever now. Gonna go to bed and hopefully it breaks like a monsoon.

Fever lasted all of 2 days for me and I never even got the third shot. Best of luck.

Dont count yourself clear until you test negative twice in a row. The new variants love their false results.

My fever lasted 3 days up to 39C last week. After that just clogged nose and coughing. I am still in isolation rn.

Honestly dengue fever last year was worse for me.

flu when i was 15 (and normal BMI as opposed to obese nowadays) felt significantly worse than covid for me. seems to be a genetic crapshoot how hard it hits you based off a poll i made on here last month.

I've been working grocery as a meat cutter since it all began. Took my kid bringing it home from school for me to get it.

Fever has gone down. It was hard to sleep as I would maybe sleep 60-90 minutes at a time and then wake up. Weird dreams, going between feeling super hot and super cold, that sort of junk.

I had Covid this year and if I voluntarily pushed hard enough I would start coughing up painful black mucus. Went to a doctor and found I had an existing, very serious, sometimes fatal condition for years now. Anything seems off you immediately get checked out, there's new stuff being found about Covid every day. Do not underestimate how scary it can get.

i have T-2 diabetes, so i probably would've gotten really bad if it wasn't for vaccines. so if you're vaccinated, expect mild fever at the very worst. oh and your body will feel like utter shit for a day, at least in my case. the joints ache like i am 108 years old

If Thursday was a 2/10, I'm feeling more like a 5/10 today? I gotta work 5 hours which is unfortunate but as a Supervisor I can basically sit in front of my computer screen for a few hours. Gotta work a combined 8 hours this weekend, gonna do 5.5 today.
