Typically, I look for two things when selecting a team for this:
- Home team (though I think that home teams have won significantly less over the past four or five seasons opposed to the previous 15)
- confidence of one team + lack of confidence in opponent (either individually or based on matchup)

I'm probably going to go against my usual method. I suppose that I could take one of Chargers/Buccaneers/Vikings, but the Jags and Lions have been playing hard and competitive despite their talent deficiencies, and really how confident should I really be in the Chargers or Vikings? I think that the Bucs defense can easily bury the Packers offense, but the Bucs offense isn't particularly great either (not to mention Evans is suspended), so that could be a tight game.

One of Saints/Chiefs/Ravens will probably be my choice as those seem like higher-potential blowout games.

Thanks. It does feel a bit weird outlasting around 3/4 of the people in this based on my picks so far, I seriously doubt I win this overall, even with only 20 left. I'll keep going with the current strategy though, as it seems trying to pick the favourites hasn't worked for a lot of people.

That's what I thought last week about the Bengals and Cooper Rush.

Cowboys at least have some players to worry about. Texans have.......Cooks? And not much else.

Let's not kid ourselves. My Bears are not going to be good this year (the false hope win against San Fran rolling into the most recent Lambeau embarrassment was particularly annoying though). But if they lose here, I deserve it anyway lol

Well more than that I was scared away from the Chargers game because the line went down to -3, but I just looked at it now and it's back up to -6.5, the fuck. I would've taken the Chargers if it was -6.5 when I looked there last night, damn.

Well I'll root for the Jags to win so I feel less bad about this, damn

Seemed likely that he would, but on the off chance Herbert didn't play I didn't want to be stuck on the Chargers.

Knew that one was unlikely, and was not at all confident. Oh well.

I will say that all of the home upsets to get up so far I didn't think would win, so wouldn't have picked those if I changed anyway. Cardinals were the only other home upset I was even considering.

I had fun trying something different at least.

The Chargers line moved because it didn't look like Herbert was going to play and then it was announced he was playing after all

Ah I see, that's what I get for not paying attention to anything NFL-related, all I'd do is look at lines and what others were doing. Plus I was offline before the game started but probably wouldn't have changed even if I caught that line change. My leech-style participation could only endure so long!
