What happened to everyone's faces? All the voice changes are horrid too. I would watch it subbed but my gf does not like subs.

Final Act is a real mixed bag.

The first half of the show has significant pacing issues. There's one episode that feels like it crams three or so manga plotlines into one episode, and they're all unrelated plotlines that could be their own episodes of the show. The second half tackles the final part of the show's lore, and while it's more of a 6/10 or a 7/10 ending to the show imo, it's pretty okay. Like it's definitely not gonna elevate the show in any way, but it's not like a Game of Thrones y'know. Just kinda mid.

Kagome's dub actress didn't want to come back for The Final Act so they replaced her, as did Sesshomaru's original dub VA. But everyone else comes back, including Brian Cox as InuYasha and Kirby Morrow as Miroku. The new voices are fine, though you can absolutely tell with Kagome.

All in all, Final Act is a shaky product, but I was still glad to see the end of the story being animated. It's not dogshit terrible, but it has low points.

Final act was the proper ending to inuyasha iirc. Came put like almost 15 years ago. They just started an anime about everyone's kids
