It picks up, just has too many characters at this point. It's doing what Game of Thrones did at the end where each episode is really only about like 3 characters so there's not much focus on anyone outside of the usual 4 leads we've had since season 1.

I haven't seen it so can't say for sure, but it seems everyone but Silver is having a redemption.

I mean, we had Johnny obviously. I cut some more slack for the kids. Also nice to have Chozen.

I prefer a real villain though. Silver pulls that off. Hopefully they keep Kreese evil. I just don't want Matt Barnes to be good as well.

glad silver's out of the way. this whole thing just felt like a side arc.

kreese's return is great but idk how it's going to work, he'll be one of the most wanted in the country after assaulting two police officers, a doctor, a therapist and breaking out of prison

johnny just continues to be awesome, fav character without a doubt
and sam continues to be my most hated, cannot even stand her at this point

Maybe it's because I know like, maybe 3 people my entire life that learned karate, so I can't imagine teenagers being THIS loyal to their karate schools that they're literally breaking each others backs and destroying rival sensei's homes.

They're acting like Terry Silver "taking over the Valley" is going to have 100's of kids all of a sudden take up karate.

There's, maybe, 4 Karate schools within a 10 mile radius of my house, and I live in the most central part of Long Island.

You do know this is a fictional show, and it's emphasized multiple times that he took over every dojo in the Valley and added multiple ones. No time to show us all of them, so we just hear about it. It's definitely plausible that thousands of kids are now in karate. That's a huge area, and people have influence over their friends.

This fictional Valley and Los Angeles area has a shit ton of karate schools.

I get that "All this, over Karate?" is supposed to be part of it's charm, but it's starting to fall into the same trap most shows or movie franchises fall into. It's becoming too successful for it's own good, so the storylines have to get more and more elaborate to top the season before.
