Game is great on modern consoles. PC I can't speak for but it runs as intended on PS5.

It's a great game. If you didn't like it, you were entitled to a refund.

The game was fine. It wasn't a revolution in gaming, but it was a perfectly serviceable GTA-like game in a cyberpunk setting with decent writing and solid voice acting.

IDK what it's like on PS4/XB1 but I'll gladly take it being exclusive if it means stability. I mean I was lucky enough to get a PS5 on release for retail price and even the broken launch version ran serviceably on day 1. Still glitchy as fuck but it wasn't a nightmare of an experience.

Alright, I'll pay attention to this. CDPR usually does fairly meaty expansions. I had my fun with the game, and had no issues on PC. Not surprised with them dropping support for last gen, because that was a fucking mistake in the first place.

The precedent was set. False advertising and outright lying in all the marketing and trailers has happened before, but not to the extent CD Project Red did with this game. The scale in which they knowingly marketed the product vs what ended up releasing is insane. Should I remind you that it released in a downright unplayable state on Xbox One and PS4? They only could sort of run on current gen consoles because they had significant spec upgrade and could power through all the blatant lack of testing.

They didn't allow reviewers to use actual footage because they knew they were lying and still wanted to sell it in that state.

should a product be judged by what you get at the end, or by what's promised?

because many finished products end up being good (amazing, even), but for whatever reasons, is unable to accomplish everything the creator(s) set out to do.

btw, the game is neither unplayable nor unfinished; a full game is out (despite falling short of some promises), and now what we're getting is extra.

Cyberpunk is and always will be garbage.

Getting a few things right (post-release) doesn't make something good.

Broken promises aside, no game with that kind of loot system is worth playing, IMO. Absolutely zero depth. That goes for the rest of the game too; it is somehow more shallow with less to do than GTAV, which it blatantly ripped off.

Bro they lost like 70% market value in their stock price from the fallout of this shit at one point. Hell they might still be hovering around that point I think. They offered refunds when they didn't have to. And despite all that, they put in the hours to fix it and gave us a great product in the end over the course of like a year. They apologized and acknowledged it multiple times since. Your acting like they raped your mother or something.

When it works, it's actually pretty great.

Had a good story, great cast and good VA. It just wasnt what was promised so I dont fault any criticising that.

I played CP2077 on PC at launch. It was fine, at least on PC. Game was ambitious but needed more depth.

Cyberpunk for the past 6 months on PS5 is fucking good

I beat like 60% of the game and almost the whole story like a year ago.

Unless they added in something amazing, or the ability to just replay the story while keeping everything I already have, I dunno if I'm interested. And I love the game too.

i'm willing to clown cyberpunk like anyone else, but it didn't set the precedent. no man's sky, final fantasy xv might have been even worse failures and came before cyberpunk. not saying it gives cyberpunk a pass, but it didn't set the precedent.

The gold standard of overpromising and underdelivering has to go to Aliens: Colonial Marines. Not excusing any of the shit games that were released afterwards, but at least those had redeeming qualities and the base game was fixed to an arguably acceptable degree. Colonial Marines _never_ did. HM to Mass Effect Andromeda.
