I never watched this show except for a few episodes at friends' houses that I don't remember way back in the day. I tried to get into it almost a year ago, but damn that first episode just feels so dated.

But I hear Goggins is in this and that he's good in it. Justified is one of my top five favorite shows, and I also love Vice Principals and Righteous Gemstones.

When does The Shield start to get really good? Is Goggins in it from season 1?

Goggins Shane is an integral part of Mackeys team. Hes in it from the get go.

I love the Shield. It does feel dated, but the acting is still great.

Cool beans. I guess if I could get through season 1 of Justified, I can try to get into The Shield again lol.

He even managed to be funny in an MCU movie, so you know he's got talent.

Season 2 a few episodes in. Season 2 impacts the rest of the show. Season 5 is the height of the show, season 6 a small dip, season 7 great finale while not as amazing as Season 5.

As the show goes on it focuses a lot more on the Strike Team. Dutch and Claudette are still major but must less screen team. Julian and Danny basically disappear compared to season 1.

What streaming service is it on?

Hulu has it. They have all of FXs stuff.

Walton Goggins was great in The Shield. Hell the whole straight team had great chemistry.

It's a pretty good show

Ok, wtf. I finished the pilot. I was definitely not expecting Vic (BIG SPOILERS) to kill that cop who was trying to bust him for the feds and frame it on the drug dealer they killed. It's also weird as hell seeing Goggins this young and playing a cop lol.

I wouldn't say I'm hooked on the show yet, but that twist definitely got me interested enough to keep watching.

The Shield is one of my most favorite shows of all time. So damn intense. Shane Vandrell is a great character. I saw every single episode live except the series finale cause I was out of the country. Just absolutely love the show. It gets a bit too GRITTY CAMERA SHAKEY!! at times, but it's such a gripping show.

Edit: Goggins is great in it. I met him once between seasons. Hes a cool guy.

The Shield is a tad corny at times but it was a good watch. Goggins is great, as usual.

I finished episode 5. It was funny watching them chase the Navigator with the stolen kilos all over town.

Episode 6 was darker with the child prostitutes/child porn plot. I'm on episode 7.

Yes. In fact, all of the finales were good, especially the last seasons finale.

Watching shows is not an easy thing for me to do
