I'm on a 6PM to 3AM tonight, but I volunteered for it cause I get 8 hours of holiday pay + the 8 hours of work + a paid floating holiday that I'm taking tomorrow that gives me a three day weekend since I'm off Wed/Thurs.

I volunteered to work today. Labor day is holiday. Holiday is double time. I got paid 24 hours today baby. I get off in 20 minutes. I just hot knifed rubber off the balers all day.

I love my job.

Got paid to stay home today. Also in the middle of a 10 day vacation after taking a week off. Normally have off Sunday and Monday, vacation lasted Tuesday to Saturday, then the usual Monday and Sunday off. But since my usual Monday off is a paid holiday, I'm getting Tuesday off instead this week and go back to work on Wednesday, hence 10 days off in a row.

I'm bored as fuck bro.

It was so dead after 10PM that I can kinda dig that chill end of the work shift quiet time, but I get so mentally drained since all I do when I work nights is think about how I'm going to work later that day and can't fully unplug from work unless it's a day off.
