Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia is the fear of long words. This 35-letter, 15-syllable word contains the root sesquipedalian, which means "long word." Therefore, it is sometimes called sesquipedalophobia.

Whoever decided on that word must have been in hysterics at the thought of some poor soul trying to tell people what their greatest fears were in years to come.

Already mentioned that one:

It might be an idea to go through posts to see what has already been mentioned.

Melting glaciers make fizzy noises.
This is also known as bergy seltzer because of how similar it sounds to fizzing soda. The sound is mainly due to the melting waters that free tiny bubbles trapped in ice.

(From memory, no time right now, correct me if I am wrong)

The Phoenix Cartel was a group whose purpose of all things, was to sell more....lightbulbs.

They would use planned obsolescence to make the life of lightbulbs last a certain amount of time to ensure repeat sales, and used the 1000 hour life as a standard.

The worlds longest working lightbulb is over a century old.

Not all of us care to research every little thing. Plus everything on the internet isn't true so it's not like just go with the first Google result and that's good enough. Some of us like discussion. And for the most part we aren't going to do much past what we actively enjoy doing with our free time.

That's my preferred local news station, funnily enough. They're invaluable during hurricane season, to the point where I prefer them over the NHC or Weather Channel (something I appreciated all the more when WINK's local doppler radar got knocked out midway through Hurricane Ian, and I had to rely on the less accurate radars of the latter two for up-to-date info).

The word 'fart' is surprisingly controversial when it comes to broadcast television. While it wasn't originally part of George Carlin's '7 Words You Can Never Say on Television,' he later noted that it ought to be added. This stigma was still running strong even up through the late 90's. The changing of the times is best embodied by the original Lion King, in which Pumbaa is comedically stopped short of actually saying the word 'fart' during 'Hakuna Matata,' and the 2019 remake, in which Pumbaa proudly declares the word in the same context.

One of the more well-known 'fart' controversies of the time was the 2000 Oscars, in which the South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut song 'Blame Canada' was nominated for Best Original Song, and the Academy requested that they censor the line 'they won't obey their parents, they just want to fart and curse' from the live performance. Trey Parker and Matt Stone obviously refused, and ultimately the line was allowed to be sung unedited (by Robin Williams, no less):

Here is one for everyone.

Lots of people would love to time travel but did you know that time travelling would kill your ass faster.

Reason being there is a thing every living organism has called the circadian rhythm AKA your internal 24 hour body clock.

This internal clock is what regulates your sleep - awake cycle. It tells you when to sleep, when to get up and when you get hungry etc etc etc https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circadian_rhythm

Now it is also responsible for aging you every second of every day and there is not a force in The Universe that can change that.

Meaning that if you took a trip for instance into the future and you spent a couple of years there and then came back to the present you would still have aged those two years.

So for instance I am 48 years old and if I kept time travelling I could very easily end up being a 48 year old man with a body of a 70 year old man say depending on how much travelling I have done.
