Intermittent fasting is awful and only makes you feel good. The calorie deficit is usually only at most 400 calories a day, which takes around 2 weeks to loose a pound.

just fast every other day. One day of normal 2500 calories, one day of 0 calories. Youll loose weight on an average of 3 to 4 pounds a week.

I did that went from my plateau of 210 calories to 180 in about 6 weeks.

I found the motivation to exercise outside for the first time in almost two weeks today. Its windy, but unseasonably warm here. I walked 12.75 miles. There is a 10 mile walking trail that runs along my subdivision.

Isnt that just another variation of intermittent fasting? Lol
Im starting off pretty high weight so my BMR is pretty high which makes my caloric deficit good for now. My goal of like 1,800-2,000 calories a day could be a deficit of 800-1000 calories compared to somebody already in okay shape who would be at only at a 400 calorie deficit.

And Im going into this trying something i cam realistically keep up with when i reach my goal and not gain my weight back again. 2-2.5lb pounds lost a weak is my goal for now which is still considered fast.

Nice! Walking is my favorite form of cardio, just that i dont have the time to do long distance walks.
Im one of those people that would rather walk for an hour straight outside then try to run on a treadmill and get bored after 15-20 minutes.

Walking is the only exercise I get, so I tend to do it a lot. I know it would probably be better if I did some strength training, but heart disease is my motivation for exercising, so I am all about cardio.

Ended up getting Culvers after grocery shopping. Got the burger that has the cheese curd patty on top and added an extra patty.

Surprisingly... it could have used more chese. Doesnt come with sliced cheese and patties were kinda dry without it.
Not bad, but wouldn't get it again.

Family was in town so made filipino bbq skewers on the charcoal grill. Its pork marinaded in a bunch of stuff like banana ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar and etc.
So gooood.
Honestly one of the best things i make haha.

Pretty sure that the Saturday weight was a combination of being sick and dehydrated and just working a 12 night shift. Which is probably right with the 5lb loss in a week

Woke up 277.6lb which seems more accurate.

True. Luckily i live in Florida lol.
I actually bought what was supposed to be decent treadmill by Sole Fitness last year but i decided to return it because the actual belt would drift to the left since i got it no matter how much i adjusted it. I didnt want to have to deal with it having it repaired and all that sjtuff coming from brand new so i returned it. Got 100% refund and they picked it up.
Decided to buy the concept2 rower instead which has been easier on my right hip that always hurts for some reason.

Ive had hip problems just from walking, but not since right after the start of the pandemic. Once, I had to stop exercising for an entire month. I was starting to worry I somehow fucked my left hip up.

Got super hungry this afternoon but was already 19hr fasted so i ate half of a gyro meal kit from sams cub. Was pretty good. Probably got hungry because i didnt drink as much because son has been sleeping later in the morning. Usually drink the most fluids when he naps.
Pitas it came with were kinda small so made 3 of them. Came with beef/lamb gryo meat, pitas, taziki, feta cheese and pepper feta sauce.
Supposed to be around 1,300 calories for the 3 of them. Also ate 3 oroes, some chocolate covered espresso, pork rinds and fiber bars.
Was hoping to get some wings tonight but guess not now lol

Been craving pizza since this weekend so ordered some after 19hr fast.
Tapped out at 5 slices and 2 pepperoni rolls. Ate 3 slices of extra cheese side and then 2 slices of chicken side.
Ended meal with a couple of fiber bars

Worth itttt.
Definitely need to eat more nutritious tomorrow but i know i couldnt focus until i fulfill my pizza craving haha.

Cooked a bunch of carton eggs with some bacon. Made my greek yogurt biscuits again because was craving biscuits and gravy, but new gravy i bought in a jar is trashhhhh.
Ended meal with a pear and apple. Best part of the meal lol. Don't know why its so hard for me to eat more fruits. Always taste good, at least apples or pears.

Ordered taco bell on doordash.
Was planning on dropping of my son with aunt around 11am like usual but she running behind so ill probably be with him until 2 or 3 and was getting hangry.
I would have gotten more chicken from publix so at least itd be high in protein, but since i have him and he is justfi ally napping now, ordered taco bell so i can eat it while he naps.
Wanting to eat a lot before i work tonight.
Weighed 275lb this morning so was my overall goal for the weak.

Broke my fast after over 20 hours with 2 small bags of pork rinds in the car after a nap. My family was driving 5 hours up to Pensacola after i worked overnight so was trying to sleep a little in car. Stopped at a gas station and mistakenly bought a 44$ jar of jerky because the price wasnt listed and i didnt want to hand it back after ringing it up lol. Was looking for an alternative to chips or candy or the ready hot food in the gas station.
The macros for the jerky is like 1oz for 90 calories with 20 protein and it was decent enough. Not tender type of jerky but okay, was saving good stuff for dinner.
Picture above is a filipino beef stew type dish my mother in law made over rice. Rare for me to bave rice but impossible not to have with this dish and that sauce/gravy.
Sooo good. Ended meal with a peach and some brownies.

Was doing good today until we got Popeyes tonight, but definitely not as bad as it could have been.

Substituted fries for a small salad with a burger for lunch.
Only ate a turkey leg at the fair insteas of all the other fried foods.
Ate 2 popeyes chicken breast and like 3 biscuits for dinner. And then had some more brownies throughout day.

Woke up 276.6 this morning. Not too bad of an increase after my roadtrip.
Wasnt too strict with my eating windows and calorie restrictions. Also dodnt drink as much water because i didnt want to have to pee with all the driving.

Probably gonna try and go without food till 5pm and eat as much as i can for an hour or two before i call it a day.

Darnit. Messed up with some Halloween candy yesterday lol.
Was doing good until i opened the bag after my fast and one just led to another...
Might be my first week where i gain weight from last week.

It was a variety bag if crunch, butterfinger, and baby ruth. Having my wife bring the rest of the bag to work.

Weighed in at a negligible 0.4lb loss since last. Still pretty encouraging considering what i ate this past week with a road trip for 3 days and halloween candy afterwards. And i still havent been back to the gym since getting sick and still maintained the weight.

Short term goal right now is 270lb before Thanksgiving.

Ate a third of this chicken broccoli casserole with mushrooms, carrots, and tomatos.
Didnt really follow a recipe, just added stuff i thought would be good and filling lol.
Taste pretty good but was too soupy. Probably couldve done more to prevent that but next time i guess.

Also ate a pear, apple, and banana.
I think 3rd straight day of me eating fruit lol
