I really hope they don't fuck it up. HD collection on 7th gen consoles was awesome, but the PC versions of MGS1-2 are complete dogshit that they still sell to this very day

Hope springs eternal, but no I do not trust Konami even the tiniest bit. Fans of any of the series' of the games redone will be best suited to just try and not notice when they come out.

I think it's crazy that...theoretically....if you were to emulate the PS2 version of MGS2: Substance, it runs better than the PC version of MGS2: Substance and looks better too.

I think it's just that, since it wasn't on an Xbox console in the past, it's the reason why we don't see it now since Sony hasn't done a lot to make sure their older titles would be playable for later consoles, with some exceptions.

like, MGS4 isn't the best MGS for a lot of people, but it would still sell really well if there was some access to it.

I watched someone on twitch play MGS2. The controls were absolutely fucking baffling. They couldn't even figure out how to do half the actions you need to do. The B/O button was start, the X/Square Button was confirm. The keybindings were outside of the game and the menu in no way accurately described the actions you could take in the game.

They fucked with it for an hour before going on a break and coming back with a *ahem* different version of the game that worked fine.
