Beer is good actually. It is much more than just Bud Light and IPAs, just google different styles and try them out.

A lot of people here like their beers, but the ones that don't, need you to know they don't like the taste.

It's like the vegan stereotype. I guess they think not liking the flavor means they have some refined taste.

I don't really understand people defending coffee's taste. Sure you may like it as is, I do too, but it's a really hard flavor to acquire a taste for. That's why it's most popularly sold and consumed in a way that essentially turns its flavor profile into candy instead of the dark and bitter flavor it's naturally brewed in.

just about everything we consume has multiple ingredients, or has things done to it to make it taste better. tea, water, and like...steak are the only things i can think of that you're going to need to do very little to enjoy it. and teas are often blended with multiple things in them so i don't even know if it truly counts. steak at the very least is going to have salt and pepper. why does coffee have to have 0 done to it to be considered coffee and good?

they are whats known as an acquired taste
no one likes the taste of them at first but the more you drink the the more your taste buds change and eventually you will start to enjoy the taste of them

like i hate the taste of onions
but if i forced myself to eat onions for every meal eventually my palette would adapt and id start to like onions

but i dont see the point of forcing myself to learn to like something i dont
its why i dont eat onions and dont drink coffee

i do drink beer because thats just what you do during your teenage years in rural saskatchewan
but i only drink it like once or twice a year now. once i turned 19 which is saskatchewans legal drinking age drinking lost its big appeal to me
it was more fun when it wasnt allowed

Ive only had coffee a few times when I was a teenager. I enjoyed it just fine, but as so far as I can remember, caffeine doesnt seem to effect me.

you know that scene in parks and rec where chris and ron have a cooking contest to see who can make the better burger? and chris makes this artisan recipe turkey burger with a bunch of fancy ingredients, and talks about how he's spent years perfecting the recipe. all the judges try it and go on in lofty detail about how great it is.

then ron presents his burger and its literally just grocery store ground beef on a shitty white bun and everyone, including chris, instantly agrees that rons is better

I'm actually glad I'm not hooked on either of these things. At most I would drink green tea or coffee during the busy seasons but I was never dependent on them like my other co-workers.

I'm going to be transparent here. Experiment. No 2 beers are the same, no 2 coffees are the same. Go to your local bulk sale store, up here in Canada we have Bulk Barn. Try their types of coffee. There are flavored coffees that give a hint of what they are supposed to be when put in a commercial brewer, probably taste more like what they should taste like when used in a pour over brewer.

Try flavored coffee enhancers. I've grown to like the Caramel Macchiato from International Delight myself. Same with beer. I'm not a beer lover by any means, but some beers are more hoppy, others taste more of other flavors depending on how they are made. Local breweries in my opinion are far better than factory brewed beers like Molson or Labatts.

While were feeding an obvious troll, coffee and beer come in an absolutely dizzying array of styles and flavors. And coffee can be mixed with lots of different things.

Me? I love beer, but Im more lukewarm on coffee. My girl makes a really nice cup: she has an intuitive sense of how to balance coffee with mixers and buys decent beans. The best coffee Ive ever had was made from these artisanal beans my enby friend bought on a lark. It was actually really fucking good!

Yes, bad coffee and bad beer are some of the worst things you can drink. However, good coffee and good beer are amazing.

I love everything about beer. That first swig when you get home after a long day at work is one of the most glorious things ever.

I hate coffee, but people saying all beer tastes gross really need to expand their tastes. Some is gross, some is good. I tried a number of beers until finding some I really like. There's all kinds out there, fuck I once had a Strawberry Taffy beer at a semi local brewery. It was amazing.

I used to eat a lot of sugar and still liked coffee. I prefer mine plain. I'm in my 20's now though so I'm too old and I've since limited my intake of both sugar and caffeine.
My first taste of beer didn't seem bitter to me at all either. Still hated it.

Because the craft scene is more about drinking hundreds of different drinks and not about stocking your fridge full of this shit. Even if I really like a beer I rarely order it more than once. I occasionally will get a six/four pack of a good discovery to share with friends but that's basically it.

A lot of these beers are also seasonal. Like they only get made one month out of the year and when it runs out you have to wait a whole year to get more so you can't even drink multiple even if you want.

They dont taste bitter to me. I just dont like the taste Not to mention, I like beer, but hate coffee So, I dont think that makes sense I dont think eating less sugar will make coffee taste better. And probably wouldnt change how much I like beer Plus, there are a few bitter things I like
