I get that impression from them, they just want to watch the OT over and over again.

I hate the prequels and am lukewarm (heh) on TFA

Seems like most folks who dislike the PT are also very critical of the ST as well

A significant part of my own degrees of enjoyment of Disney's Star Wars (which ranges from "it's okay that this exists, at least its better than the prequels, I don't have to watch it though" to "woooo sTaR wArS yeeeeeah I'm nine years old again") is definitely the blue balling that the prequels gave me way back when. But I wasn't exactly over the moon in love with TFA, either. I enjoyed it plenty, and wanted to see the next one, but I only saw it once in the theater and was satisfied, ultimately, to wait until Disney+ launched to see it again, because by that time I was an adult there were other, meatier movies I wanted to see.
