Obviously the cultists are beyond hope, but there are numerous politicians in power who may actually be in serious trouble legally if Trump finally goes down.

It's pretty well known that Trump likes to have leverage over people in power to get what he wants. Dangerous intelligence, recordings, etc.

I am 100% certain he has scandalous information about Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham.

Blackmail and extortion are literally the only two things Trump knows how to do successfully.

Federal prosecutors told the court that in some instances, "even the FBI counterintelligence personnel and DOJ attorneys conducting the review" of the records seized in this month's search required additional clearances before they could review certain documents, suggesting that they found the records to be extremely sensitive.

Records taken from the White House to Mar-a-Lago were stored in a single location, a lawyer for Trump present on June 3 told federal officials: a storage room on the property, the Justice Department said in its response. A preliminary review of the documents conducted by the FBI revealed the envelope contained "38 unique documents bearing classification markings, including 5 documents marked as CONFIDENTIAL, 16 documents marked as SECRET, and 17 documents marked as TOP SECRET."

"Counsel for the former president offered no explanation as to why boxes of government records, including 38 documents with classification markings, remained at the premises nearly five months after the production of the Fifteen Boxes and nearly one-and-a-half years after the end of the administration," Justice Department lawyers told the court.

But after the June 3 meeting at Mar-a-Lago, the FBI, according to the response, claims it uncovered "multiple sources of evidence" that indicated more classified documents remained at the property and that a search of the storage room "would not have uncovered all the classified documents at the premises." Prosecutors added, "the government also developed evidence that government records were likely concealed and removed from the storage room and that efforts were likely taken to obstruct the government's investigation."

"That the FBI, in a matter of hours, recovered twice as many documents with classification markings as the 'diligent search' that the former president's counsel and other representatives had weeks to perform calls into serious question the representations made in the June 3 certification and casts doubt on the extent of cooperation in this matter," the filing asserts.

Trump put himself in a really bad position here.
* His lawyer (I believe it was Christina Bobb) signed an affidavit in June, under penalty of perjury, that they had given any and all documents back. This was a lie. So she's now likely going to have to testify about this.
* Multiple so-far-unnamed individuals within Trump's orbit reported that there were still classified documents at Maralago
* The DoJ gets a search warrant and the FBI goes to get them.
* Trump started the conspiracy theories. At first, he said the FBI planted the documents they found. This didn't work.
* Trump then said the he declassified all the documents he had. The espionage law doesn't differentiate between whether documents are classified or declassified. It simply specifies that it's a crime to mishandle NDI (national defense information). Trump saying over and over that he declassified the documents he had at Maralago is an admission that he had them. He was absolutely not supposed to have these documents at Maralago.

Documents marked TS/SCI (Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information) can only be viewed in a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility). A SCIF is a highly secured room in which you aren't allowed to bring in any electronics at all to view the documents they hold. Phones, computers, fitness trackers, video games, etc.

Another mystery is who the fuck gave Trump all this shit. The FBI is fingerprinting all of the documents they found to see if they can find out who handled them.

The with the red cover page at the bottom of the picture has an HCS (HUMINT Control System) marking on it, which means it's a document with information about human intelligence. That document being in Trump's position for over a year and a half possibly puts our spies around the world at risk.

It was reported in October of 2021 that the CIA was complaining about "troubling numbers of informants recruited from other countries to spy for the United States being captured or killed."

This is really bad. There is a much higher than zero chance that Trump sold them out for profit.

No, but prior to Trump's clown show legal team, I don't think lawyers have been known to lie and/or submit fraudulent documents to federal agencies in written form.

They know it doesn't really matter since the PC affidavit laws cited never specify the documents must be classified in order to violate those codes. Trying to fight this in court over "they were actually declassified" was a dead end from the beginning.
