It's definitely something that happens if parents have their kids really spaced out. My friend has siblings that are like 30 years older than him. So he has nieces and nephews that were born before he was.

There is another story where his parents... suddenly appear outside aunt Mays house. May finds it strange and warns Peter, but he is so happy so he wont listen to her. And of course he tells them that he is Spidey.
It turns out the are robots created by one of his enemies. Opsie.
