Naw it definitely starts at Tekken 3 timeline even with Tekken 7 characters in it. I liked it even though it's not all that great. They messed up the ending with the last episode. Paul Phoenix was the one to actually beat Ogre. When Jin beats Heihachi, Ogre sucked Heihachi's power and then becomes True Ogre and then Jin beats True Ogre. They had Jin beat Ogre and then Ogre turned into True Ogre without sucking Heihachi. --- Don't like it? Don't watch it. Voice acting is pretty terrible at times (looking at you MR SUPER SERIOUS HEIHACHI) but I really appreciate the dedication the creators put into including a lot of the iconic moves that the characters have into the show.
