i mean, like, you're a homebody. You don't really like to go anywhere

Me. I hate traveling. I'd much rather stay home.

I havent taken a vacay in years. Used to go to conic con every year but since the pandemic it threw everything for a loop. Last 2 years i have worked literally everyday. At my main job and on my 2 days off at my part time job. That can be healthy.

It can be fun to go camping for a weekend or something. But anything longer than a few days makes me miss being home.

These days, I prefer to travel to major amusement parks as a vacation. Exploring and hiking through national parks is another reason to travel, too, but I have not done that. Staying at home for vacation is preferred in lieu of those things.

I liked traveling when I was younger when my parents were paying for everything.
Now it just seems so expensive, and when I get back I'm less rested than before I left but have to go into work the next day.
At this point I'd usually rather just take a week to stay home and rest if I'm going to take time off of work.

do you like roller coasters , at major amusement parks?

It's fun but I'll be perfectly fine never going on one for the rest of my life. It's never something I'll plan out and bother setting up, it's always someone saying "We should do this" and I go with it.

I take vacations just to take a break from working. I don't have the energy to travel anymore i rather stay home.

I love vacations - but theyre too fucking expensive now.

even if you can drive somewhere, the cost of hotel and food is still astronomical.

I like vacations and traveling. I'm on vacation rn actually. I don't like beaches tho or much water stuff unless I'm on a boat. I'm currently walking distance from a beach but I did drive a boat today. Pretty fun.

Yeah. Can't do flat rides or spinning/4D coasters, as they do numbers for my motion sickness.

I was going to be there two weeks ago with some family, but instead, someone at work gave me COVID.

Yeah, I kind of only like going on vacations because its something my daughter enjoys (and weve only gone on one with her, but intend to again sooner or later). I mean, I like time off work, but Id rather just be at home doing whatever I want (or go to whatever location in my town to get what I need).

TCs name reminded me, think she might be too young and thus too short to ride much, but Ive thought of taking the kid to Cedar Point. >_>

23 more work days until my next vacation. I've been waiting to go on this trip for two years.

Honestly me. I'm an introvert, so I relax best at home. Like, I just spent 5 days in Houston with my son, my mom and my grandmother. We went to visit some extended family. It was more exhausting than relaxing for me.

I would love to be able to go on vacation.... but I haven't been able to afford one for 20 years. I hopefully will start to be able to afford vacations this time next year, but who knows.

I much prefer staycations.

I like vacations but im very picky on what we do on the trip for me to enjoy it.

I would absolutely hate it if it was a vacation thats only about the kids and there was nothing in it for me to enjoy.

More than a night away from my house and I get anxious. I just really like being at home, or at least close enough that I can go home at the end of the day.

Yea... Anytime I have a vacation from work, I just use it to relax at home and play video games all week...

with how crippled my body is i can't really sit in a car or plane for more than a couple hours anyway
