yea, his lean/drug addiction definitely didn't help his music.

but his stuff from the 2000s put him in the conversation for being one of the GOATs, as far as I'm concerned.

Sounds like his mom did the right thing pulling him out of school especially if she bought him a gun for protection, at that point yea she was right and thankfully it worked out for him.

He got his GED? Even without his music. his GED would get him through life just as well as a diploma

Yeah, but magnet schools in Baton Rouge were just as bad as anything else. The Louisiana public school system was basically run more like a detention center than an education center.

I was fortunate enough to spend most of my time in private school, but it was socially stunting and the entire school was basically a giant scam. Yes, I never saw horrible violence and we didnt have police on campus, but we were all kept in highly regressive states of mind and were taught next to nothing.
