I hear about this game, but I don't actually know anyone who plays it.

I played it quite a bit when it was new, I was also one of the like 40 people who played it when it was only a PvE tower defense-like game, hell I remember way back in 2011 or early 2012 when it was announced and dropped off the face of the earth for years.

It's a solid game, there's a reason why it's so popular and I frequently wish other BR games would take some cues from it, but it seems like it's mainly a kids game now not unlike Minecraft, every video I see about it there's always children no older than 14 playing the games.

I also can't stand all the crossover stuff, it was cool at first but when something gets popular it seems it inevitably becomes a Fortnite skin or emote, no matter the subject material. It feels so capitalistic.

Oh and there was that thing where they broadcasted the famous MLK speech ingame while all the players do shitty meme dances that made it look so fucking stupid.

I play it quite a bit (Just the battle royale. STW isn't fun at all for me). It's great!

I tried it for about 20 minutes and that was enough

I played a few seasons on the Switch, saw what the pros were doing on PC and gave up

Good fun, dont need NSO to play either, but I've had my fill

my son likes it and i play it with him. you can get indiana jones and darth vader in this seasons battle pass

Yeah I very much like the game without building, it was somethign I wanted 4 or 5 years ago when it launched.

Nope; I just watch streamers like Ninja and Zemie play it.

i recently started playing again with my friend. its a very fun and well made game despite all the little kids that kinda kill the vibe lol

I hate BR style games. Much rather Domination or CTF style FPS.

I would've played it when I was younger, but it seems too fast paced and rinse and repeat for me. I want to cultivate something. Not just skill. I've done that over and over and it's empty to me now. I haven't cared about winning for a while. Once you are number 1 a lot it loses its luster. Rather be number 1 in reality where it matters. And I don't need other monkeys clapping at me. Just give me cold hard cash. Let them clap at some other monkey.

When it comes to games I either want a really good story, something like minecraft, or fallout with building and crafting and AI villagers to help. We need more games where we can vastly improve the lives of poor people. I love doing that. I love fixing suffering.

Even when we were young and played laser tag I didn't particularly like it. Then again, if the game has demolition and heavy artillery it can be fun. Who doesn't love blowing shit up. I loved Mechwarrior games. Nothing like toppling billions of dollars in metro real estate.

The idea of Fortnite seems ok to me, but I'd rather it be an mmo with pve instead of pvp.

I did a few years ago but once I got a win on both Switch and PC I felt accomplished enough to retire.
