You're definitely hurting the cause when you keep flip flopping on something people are trying to have taken serious. Which, it should be. But when you start jumping around and are one the most popular people representing it, you make it cone off disingenuous. Which, overall it's not disingenuous and maybe she isn't even using it how you said. But you gotta zoom out and look at what you're doing objectively once in awhile. Like, if I was sexually still figuring myself out. You wouldn't want me being one the top representatives of the gay community when Im constantly like "Oh wait. Nevermind Im not gay". Understand you're not in a place to lead and figure yourself out before you try to. And understand even if you don't want to lead, your fame is gonna put you there anyway. And you choose to stay famous in the spotlight. Maybe Im wrong. It would just help to also understand how confusing it is to someone who has zero personal experience with these emotions. We can't just magically understand it because it would be convenient. And if I act like I magically understand all of it, Im never gonna get into dialogues that will actually make me grow. Id just be faking understanding to pat myself on the back for being open-minded. I want to actually know what people are experiencing and this is a harder one to relate to as an outsider since there's so many constantly moving pieces. My niece has switched up while figuring herself out as a 16 year old. But seeing as we treat her the same regardless and just adapt to whatever she's feeling currently, it seems insignificant to her overall personality. When she's older she might be able to give me more indepth insight on what it felt like. Ive had a very simple life when it comes to all this type of stuff. That means, everything Im trying to learn is outside my personal experience.
