Never cared about the Disney+ side of things in general, and none of these new shows seem interesting (I also don't know who thought giving Echo and Agatha their own shows was a thing people wanted). I might get excited for Daredevil, but only after they confirm it's not going to be kiddied down from the Netflix show. And as for the movies, Blade could be great if done well. But this is the MCU we're talking about, so it's probably going to be way more family friendly than it should be, with a lot of awkward cuts and rewrites, an overabundance of CGI, and forced cameos. After Doctor Strange 2 and Thor 4 I'm not expecting much from future movies at the moment. The three movies they announced for Phase 6, though, sound like they could match Infinity War/Endgame in terms of hype. But again, only if done right. I'm just excited to see the Fantastic Four finally be brought into things. Looking at the first season, there are probably only a handful of scenes where the violence goes from TV14 to MA. And the language is definitely not MA and there is really no sex or nudity. You can probably edit 30 seconds out of the entire 13 hour season run and it would be TV14. It admittedly gets more MA in season 2 with Punisher and Elektra, but no one complained that season 1 wasn't MA enough. Like for example going by the dialoge between Nat and Clint you'd think there was some Hawkeye/Black Widow movie in phase 1, but since there isn't you can still just go along with what they are saying about their past experiences. But if there was a HE/BW movie that ties into their work in SHIELD, that possibly had Von Strucker and fleshed him out more, people would be acting like it's totally mandatory viewing and the same exact dialogue in later movies is sooooo confusing without watching it. <cite>Raikuro posted [p:966803155] in What's you... If I had to watch House of the Dragon and play the telltale game to understand shit in Game of Thrones, that would be a problem. If I suddenly had to watch every CW show to understand WTF happens in Flashpoint, that would be a major problem. The trend so far has been to watch everything for a lot of people and when it opens up to even more stuff, you have no idea where something big can drop or whatever, so you kind of feel like you need to watch it. I like that meme where it feels like finishing the main quest in a game and then going around finishing tons of rather pointless sidequests, which are the shows. bsp77 posted... Deadpool, Spider-Man and Mutants are all possibilities to fill in the cracks Edit - you can see the placeholders in the image I don't think there's many cracks to fill in. There's only 2 movie openings left there. February 2025 right before Avengers Kang Dynasty and then July 2025, right after that and before Avengers Secret Wars. I'm getting the feeling we're not getting Mutants, Deadpool, DS3, Shang-Chi 2 and any sequel to a single film we've see the past two years till Phase 7.
