I clearly tried to change the topic to her work out multiple times and she refused to let me do so. I didnt want to get super deep into my issue, but she pulls me in and then rips me to shreds because I was vulnerable to her, I guess?

Generally a bad idea to unload personal issues with strangers, but she's the bigger yikes tbh.

Personal experience: man, woman, doesnt matter. The kinds of people who get offended that they made you uncomfortable are bad news. Your worst sin was an akward as hell opener. This tbh, rereading this it seems like when she said "you got this dear" she was giving you an out to change the subject. Then you responded with "I'm not good alone" which other than being needlessly self depreciating also most likely comes off emotionally manipulative to girls who have dated dudes like that before.
