Yeah, Tinker Bell is a huge help. Make sure you use Cure and Aero often

Do you have everyones item slots filled with elixirs? You can also level up a bit if youre getting frustrated, 2-3 levels may make the difference for you. You can (and should) change Donald and Goofys behaviors so they are less likely to spend items/healing on themselves and more on you.* It probably goes without saying but make sure all of your best equipment is equipped on Sora.

*Edit: I realize they will spend most of the battle knocked out anyway. Frustrating

Yeah, I finally got back to the game and Tinkerbell was a gem here. Had little trouble when summoning her.

Bambi can be pretty sweet too. Drops health and mp constantly.

I mean the offensive ones suck. Mushu actually alright at dealing damage but it's boring to use.

Genie in kh2 is kinda rad though

yeah, this. Each new torn page you bring to the book, once you enter and exit the new area of HAW, it turns into a different item. If youve been there even once, just talk to the fairy godmother and she will convert it to the Bambi summon for you

No youre not stupid at all. Its not obvious since you get some summons by visiting the world (genie, tinker bell) yet others are acquired from items

One thing I read said you have to clear the Poohs Honey Hunt minigame to get the summon gem for Bambi, which sounds right. So if you left 100 acre wood without completing the mini game you probably need to go back and do that

Yeah, I beat that game, but didn't talk to the Fairy Godmother. It sounds like she gives more than that so it might be worth it visiting her next time it's possible.

Yeah, based on where youre at in the game you are going to get more than one summon.

Not that they're that useful, tink is the best one.

But at least you get new journal entries!

Bambi has some great utility in some fights and is also great if you wanna synthesize, but he and Tink are really the only genuinely useful summons. Dumbo and Mushu each have like one situation where they're good for, but I barely remember which it was.

Dumbo is useful for the Gigas Shadow in Wonderland if you're playing Final Mix, and Mushu is essential for the last stretch if you're doing a low level run.

I beat Riku once again mostly just spamming. Then after some cutscenes and being a Heartless, I'm in Traverse Town so I went to see the Fairy Godmother. Got Bambi and Mushu.

Hollow Bastion done. Next time it's end of the world time and I'm finally done. With the last world done, let's do a ranking.

Yeah, 100 Acre Wood at the top of the Disney worlds is a new one for me, too

And the kh2 one is even better do the other worlds even stand a chance

I'm aiming to get the platinum on this game. Just finished my easy 100% playthrough. I feel like I'm in for a world of hurt on proud mode, as I treated easy mode as a 'mash X to win'

proud is doable

I think I did the no equipment change run on Normal and it was probably tougher than proud. Or at least more annoying.

What can I say, I really love Winnie the Pooh and it was really joyful and a nice change of pace. Probably wasn't as high on my first playthrough, but it's genuinely very loveable.

To be fair, I moved it up and down a bit, it could have been at the top of the second one or bottom of the top one, so I moved it up to spread worlds out more.

The three (or four) playthroughs for the platinum is the most annoying part. I didn't find any of the playthroughs to be particularly hard though, although I started on Proud.

Yeah, I don't enjoy the game enough to care for platinum. In particular because I only replayed it to have it in fresh memory for when I played the other games. I like trophy hunting but I don't want to do this.

multiple playthrough platinums really kill it for me, though for kh1 I could do it.

Been going through a good bit of the last part of the game. It's a bit of a drag but nothing has been an issue so far.

It's not exactly a popular opinion but I 100% agree with it

I think I'm at the final save point now, so last chance to do anything but beating the game. Which might honestly be a decent call because I'm pretty underleved and I think you have to beat all the bosses in one go.

You get unlimited continues between them but yeah you can't save

Oh, I thought I remembered having to beat bosses again if you lost to a later one

iirc there is one phase that if you lose you have to redo the previous boss as well, but it's also an easy one.

I got the platinum in the end. Proud mode wasn't as bad as I thought though. The ability Second Chance is OP as hell

I actually played some tonight. I attempted the final bosses initially but lost to Ansem the second time you fight him with only Sora. Then I decided to set out to get Aero upgraded which includes finding all the dalmatians, so I began looking for those which will also allow me to get some levels.

I also attempted the Hades cup. Lost against a boss because I was impatient but this one has checkpoints it seems so maybe I'll come back once I'm done getting Aeroga.

I did some looking for dalmatians and stuff watching football some of the days.

But it really is a shame I just didn't manage to complete it all in July on vacation lol.
