Started a low intelligence run in fallout 2 yesterday evening. I've always loved that the game has a completely different set of dialogue for the ENTIRE game when you have 3 or less int.

So I played a game of Wingspan this morning. 5 players (me and 4 normal level AIs) and I managed to win. It's a pretty relaxing card game about birds where the goal is to be the player with the highest feather (point) count at the end of the games 4 rounds (consisting of I think 5 or 6 turns each).

As someone who doesn't like pineapple on pizza I find the hatred towards doing it absolutely bizarre. Like, I get not liking something but outside of some pretty gnarly stuff the hate just comes from the place of just being utterly intolerant towards any form of new foods regardless of context.

Team this was my first one of these as a relatively new PC gamer. This was amazing, I'm still flabbergasted by the generosity and all the good vibes. I said it somewhere here, but gamefaqs is usually an extremely negative place to be, to the point where I don't even know why I bother...but seeing all the excitement and kindness here was incredible.

Are most CRPGs turn based?

Define "turn based." Almost all of them have some level of an ATB system or are timed, but there are somewhat three distinct versions of the combat: pause and plan, real time, and tactical (ie. purely turn-based). Pause and plan is the most common form of it in which everything happens in real time but the game expects you to constantly pause the game to dictate actions for your group whenever the default action isn't going to cut it. Real time is largely the same but without the emphasis on pausing. Usually through the form of a stronger AI but sometimes it's entirely RTS-style where you just have to get good. Tactical is where the game automatically pauses in between every action and it is expected that you carefully plan out every turn as things like movement happen in-between the turns rather than all at the same time.

I've tried it, just not a fan of it personally. I'm also not huge on vegetables on pizza though either, if I order one (which is rare) I typically go for a thin / Italian crust and light toppings, so pepperoni & chorizo or sausage and meatballs.

I like pineapple, and I like a wide variety of vegetables, just not on pizza. Well, maybe red peppers but that's about it lol.

If people like it, more power to them, just not my cup of tea.

Like id rather play something pause-and-plan or purely tactical, not interested in an action-style game like Diablo or something. A FF or Chrono style ATB system is fine

Those are the most common ways to do it, so you're golden. The only CRPGs that do the RTS style tend to be Diablo clones (ie. hack-and-slash) nowadays.

This is a great attitude to have. I don't know why "pizza shaming" has become a thing.

Here's my theory, there's a group of sayings that I believe people only repeat, because they've heard someone else speak them. (Yea this is a weird thing I've come up with but a bump is a bump!)

-You don't see any tall old people
-You don't like the word "Moist"
-No pineapple on pizza

Point is, pizza is delicious in almost all forms, and shouldn't be judged! Live your life! Eat your pizza!
