What speakers do you all have for your computers? I have Logtech z130, but Im not very happy with them. Not sure if its a speaker problem or something wrong that Im doing

-they randomly get ridiculously loud for no reason even at the lowest setting and me not touching the knob

-sometimes, only the slave speaker will work. The other master speaker is totally silent

-the sound levels are terribly inconsistent. Sometimes a tiny bit above zero is all I need, but sometimes I can only hear stuff once its halfway to max level

Restaurant I work at finally started to allow card tips yesterday and up through today I made about $50 each day which is more than the usual $5 I get if I'm lucky (place with a tip jar so not actually tipped wages)

Turns out after my shift ended, he turned off the credit card tips because "The people working up front shouldn't be making that kind of money" and "People will stop coming here if they see the option to tip and that'll cost ME money"

When I finally felt decent about my job situation for a day this happens

Why the hell would he turn it off? Tips arent anything the restaurant pays extra for? (Or so I thought, I know most places have to pay to use a CC reader or whatever)

He didn't tell anyone but I heard him muttering under his breath yesterday how its ridiculous how the people up front are making that much (There are two fo us and since we split that's $100 in tips for the 11-3 lunch shift) and how he's afraid the tips are gonna turn people away from the place

how does tipping eat into profits? Isnt that why restaurants pay so unfairly to workers? I dont thats allowed, to arbitrarily decide tips arent allowed. If theres a higher up you can talk to, I would.

I feel like Vampire Survivors just hands achievements out like candy at first. played the 4 rounds so far(first game I barely lasted a few minutes, feeling it out, second game lasted 20 minutes and 10 achievements, third game was new area and almost made it 10 minutes then 4th game was 27 minutes in second area and 10 more achievements). lol.

Yea that guy just sounds like a prick. If people like the place and the service they will keep on coming back and probably tipping.

and it sucks cause I've been there for a few months and I was starting to actually not mind it and staretd to get comfortable with it and then this bullshit happens

Bruh you dont quit and then start looking for a job. Look around, check job listings, interview, etc. Take out some hours from the first job, or take a week or two off, and test the waters of new job once you get hired somewhere, and weigh your options. You dont need to jump off the boat with both feet at once.

I'm a big fan of it.

When I moved into a three bedroom just before the pandemic started, my internet was down for around two weeks as the line to this address had significant issues, my ISP mucked me around essentially for a while.

YMBAB (on Android / phone) was the game I played the most during those two weeks when I had some downtime. I also played it during the waits via hospital visits for my youngest son. I found it quite addictive.

Seems like flawed logic on his part, happy workers typically means more enthusiastic and productive workers. As you've said, you started to feel great about the job and he comes and pulls the rug out from under you. Guy seems like a bit of an idiot.

Despite their age, I consider them better than both of Bethesda's mainline offerings.

Writing, approach to dealing with quests & characters, the world etc. I absolutely adore both FO1 & FO2. They also nail mature themes far better than FO3 or FO4 and it's combat system though aged, offers what I feel more nuanced approach to death, where death animations are far more visceral than the VATS system seen in future iterations.

The older games also balanced their darker, mature themes with black humour, whereas future instalments under Bethesda are kind of, I don't know, a bit too zany for me.

I love Interplay's work with FO and I commend Obsidian for what they could due under time constraints with New Vegas, but the originals for me are where Fallout is at it's best.

FO1 also has one of my favourite villains of all time, with some of the best / strongest dialogue back and forth between the player and them. FO2 is hands down one of the best CRPGs of all time for me.

This is just about my opinion as well.
Also, there are MANY mods for F2 that are great, including the universally accepted fan patch that even interplay added to an official release of the discs as a set. The fan patch adds a LOT of cut content and completed a lot of it. Also, there's a resolution patch as well. All of it works with steam version if you look them up online. (There's plenty of documentation too!)
I recommend playing base game though, with at most the resolution mod, to get the full experience before any mods/additions!

Not gonna lie. I generally use my CD Based one cause I still have the OG AND the collection disc (which includes the unofficial fan patch)
Never thought to check F2 steam version for the res patch LOL. Does it also come with Unoffical Fan Patch, by chance? Cause if so I might just play steam version so people see just how much I love this game based on viewable hours played.
