Aye, from when I sent you Witcher GOTY I think, unless I've know you since the last Summer sale and we've simply never spoken lol.

Talking of, I've been feeling a replay of that lately, perhaps a 5th run with some mods.
I started playing it but I didn't get very far before another game took my attention away. I really need to sit down and actually dig into it soon lol

---
Wild ARMs is still the best JRPG series in my opinion and we desperately need a new game in the series!

Ah, I was sure that'd be the one that get you stuck in for a hundred or so hours when I sent it lol. Such a great game, I like all of them actually as well as the books. I think Hearts of Stone is one of my favourite content additions / DLCs of all time. Most love Blood & Wine over HoS, but I enjoyed the story more in the former. Great cast of characters.

blistr gifted me the Alone in the Dark Anthology!

Thanks dude. Obviously I love Resident Evil games but I actually never played an AitD game :) (ok I very briefly played TNN on PS1 along time ago but didnt get very far) lol

I remember the first time I played AinD, it was on a 3DO back in the mid 90's. It was the first survival horror game I played and it got me into liking the genre.

Speaking of Witcher 3, I really need to finish my first playthrough. Starting playing it last year to prep for Season 2 of Netflix's Witcher, and even made it all the way to Bald Mountain, but I got distracted and never went back. It was an absolutely amazing game though - the only open-world game where I actually looked forward to doing side-quests to learn about the world/lore

@blistr gifted me vampire survivors. Excited to try this one this weekend

It looks like a game I had on the Commodore 64 back in the 80's, though I can't remember the name of it. The gameplay looked similar, being surrounded by enemies and having to shoot you way out.

Hope you enjoy it buddy.

Aye, it's a phenomenal game. That said, it's still miles ahead as far as fan-fiction goes when compared to the dumspter fire that Lauren Hissrich and her team put out. The first season of the Netflix show was okay, but the second season is an absolute train wreck for me after the first episode.

Kind of mad actually, that two franchises I love, both Halo and Witcher had for me, mediocre > weak TV show offerings given the source material they can work with, Halo especially with it's EU.

Yea, having not read the books, I can't speak to the accuracy of the portrayal of certain characters, but Vesemir, specifically, seemed really off in season 2.

Edit: Realized I haven't posted my wishlist in the new topic yet, so here we go. Most of the things in it are on the more expensive side, but anything would be appreciated.

The C64 wasn't just a games machine. I had word processing and graphic art software for it. I too used it for schooling to the point my info tech teacher refused to believe my school work wasn't completed using an Apple Mac. It blew her mind when she visited the hotel my parents owned back then and I showed her my C64 setup.

I remember The Great Giana Sisters and the controversy surrounding it. It was only briefly released before Nintendo sued and it was taken off the shelves. It was one of the most shared games amongst my friends lol.

Henry and Joey are the ones carrying the show IMO.

I lived in a house atop a hill once where, at the house itself, the fog did not lift for 3 weeks. You couldn't see more than 15 feet in front of you!! That, and with the trees loosing their leaves and somewhat appearing through the fog, would have made for a great horror movie set.

Don't know if the genre has an established name yet (Reverse Bullet Hell? Bullet Heaven?), but out of the few dozen released in the last month, 20 Minutes Till Dawn has been the stand-out game. Especially since it is more in line with a classic twin-stick shooter, allowing you to aim your weapons. Really looking forward to where it goes in the future

In fact, I want to give out one more copy of the game. So, first person to quote me who has at least 5 hours in Vampire Survivors (either post a screenshot of your hours, or have your steam profile public), gets a copy of 20 Minutes 'Till Dawn as well!

Which makes it hilarious that one of the revival projects for giana came out on the DS. And I'm pretty sure the Wii u had twisted dreams.

How about the reverse? I bought that game recently and currently have 35 hours on it. I'm only one more game away from having all achievements. I spent most of that time doing wacky builds like a flamethrower damage build that I call the Great Balls of Fire build (flamethrower bullets turn into spherical balls after enough increase in bullet size). I keep hearing about VS too and people saying it's even better than 20 MTD.
