Bugs Bunny.

"Aw, man, basically another Mickey," Cyborg says with a grumble.

"Well, I had a feeling," you say. "A big name like that, he's gotta be strong."

"Yeah, yeah," Cyborg says.

"Alright," Beast Boy says, "let's get going."

Cyborg finalizes the character selection and moves on to level selection. He goes with Random and the game spits out the basketball court from Space Jam.

"Very nice," you say.

The characters make their entrance, and both Wile E. Coyote and Bugs gets to wear the Toon Squad uniform.

"Aw, nice!" you say.

"Even better," Beast Boy says with a grin, "Cyborg can't use Wile E's edge save!"

"Crud," Cyborg grumbles.

"Three!" the game narrator says. "Two! One! FIGHT!"

You move around with the D-pad arrow buttons, with up being jump and down being crouch. You test out the other buttons, A, B, C and D. You see all sorts of attacks but you aren't sure what's what.

"What's strong and what's weak in this?" you say.

"A and B are the basic attacks," Beast Boy says while Mickey chases after Wile E, "and C and D are the stronger ones. And obviously, you can combine those with directions on the D-pad."

"Okay," you say.

You rush in to where the other two are, jumping around the left baskeball hoop. You aim for...

A) Beast Boy/Mickey
B) Cyborg/Wile E. Coyote

You jump and use your strong moves, narrowly missing Wile E. Coyote.

"Hey, man, you ganging up on me?" Cyborg complains.

"It's going to seem like ganging up no matter what," you say. "But if Wile E. Coyote's a savvy type, it's best to get him out of the way. Oh, nice, the mallet."

Bugs Bunny's strong attack has a lot to do with the classic comically-oversied mallet. He swings it around side to side but Wile E. jumps out of the range. Mickey comes soaring in over Bugs to jump on Wile E. and jump away. That does some decent damage, and Wile E. is stunned, so you rush in to hammer Wile E! That's big damage, taking Wile E. to 50% total.

Cyborg grumbles and he mashes a few buttons to get Wile E. to recover. Wile E. then throws out some ACME dynamite! You retreat but the explosions are big and you get hit slightly, 12% damage. Mickey gets away a bit better, only at 6%. Wile E. stands his ground as Cyborg puts in a long chain command. Wile E. sets up a teeter totter, throws a weight to one end, and launches himself into the air!

"Aw man, c'mon," Beast Boy complains as Wile E. Coyote floats his way down. "Quit stalling."

Wile E. Coyote throws out more TNT! You have Bugs run around but you do get hit by one explosion, he's now at 30%. Mickey starts shooting stars at Wile E?

"Why's he got stars as projectiles?" you ask.

"Mickey Mousecapade," Beast Boy says quickly. "Really weird, obscure game, but it's what he does in that game, so..."

Mickey hits Wile E. a couple times, he's now at 56%. You run over, you end up smacking Mickey, now he's 16%, and you jump. You get to top of the basketball hoop and jump again to clip Wile E, he's now 68%. Wile E. lands on the hoop with Bugs and dumps a bunch of tar on him! Bugs moves so slow now!

Wile E. smacks Bugs with a big hammer of his own, but that seems to be one of his lesser attacks, you're only up to 35%. But then there's something shiny that floats in!

"It's the Slam Jam!" Beast Boy says. "That helps you unlock your super move!"

You hurry to get Bugs back up, and you go for...

A) The Slam Jam
B) Mickey
C) Wile E.

You rush for the Slam Jam item, and notice it looks like a jar of jam. But as you chase the jar, Wile E. uses more TNT! You get blown up and knocked away, you're at 52%! And now Wile E. gets the jam!

Wile E. is shown eating the glowing jam, and he starts to glow! He goes to the ground and Cyborg presses an attack button. Wile E. starts setting up something. A big slingshot? Oh, of course! He's got rocket skates, too! Wile E. pushes the slingshot back and then...

"BOOYAH!" Cyborg shouts as Wile E. takes off!

Everything happens quickly now. Beast Boy gets Mickey to jump, and though he still gets hit, his damage is much less, going from 16 to 46%.

"WHOA!" you shout as Bugs gets hit by the rocket powered Wile E!

Bugs gets sent flying off screen and there's an explosion! His damage resets to 0% with a skull put by the name. Bugs then drops in with the invincibility blinking.

"So how many lives are there?" you ask.

"Three," Beast Boy says. "So like, three strikes, you're out."

"Makes sense."

Wile E. runs after Mickey but Beast Boy gets Mickey to jump over the hoop then back again. You have Bugs waiting to uppercut hammer Mickey! He's now at 57%! Mickey air recovers and shoots those stars, but Bugs runs around to dodge. Wile E. throws out more tar and he tags them both! Mickey and Bugs both move slowly, and Wile E. brings out a HUGE bomb! The bomb is lit and you can't get free of the tar so BOOM! Bugs ends up at 50% and Mickey goes to 107!

"What in the world was that?" you ask as Mickey goes flying and gets his first skull.

"Wile E. Coyote's got one really strong strong move," Cyborg says, "but it can really only be pulled off if the tar trap works."

"All the more reason we need to get you outta here," you say.

You and Beast Boy get Bugs and Mickey to recover, and you both rush Wile E. They all jump around, Mickey shoots stars at Wile E. as he jumps around. Wile E. gets hit a few times, he's at 77%. You jump and hit him midair with a big downward hammer! He goes right to 100% and goes through the floor!

"Wow, nice," you say, surprised at your own character's move.

Wile E. respawns and now everyone has a strike.

A) Keep the pressure on Wile E.
B) Switch to chasing Mickey
C) Hang back and see how things play out

You run off to the side as Mickey and Wile E. jump at each other. They swing at each other with their weaker strikes, making occasional contact. Wile E. ends up with 14% damage and Mickey ends up with 15%.

Mickey jumps and shoots stars, Wile E. gets hit with one to bring him to 20%. Wile E. tries more tar but Mickey jumps again. Mickey jumps and stomps on Wile E. to bring him to 25%. Wile E. is dizzy again so Mickey kicks him away for 29%! Wile E. gets up and he throws more TNT. Mickey gets far away to avoid the explosions.

Mickey shoots more stars but his range isn't much better. But then they both realize you're not doing anything and they both go after you!

"Well so much for complaining about ganging up on someone," you say as you jump to evade.

You avoid an explosion but get hit with a Mickey star for 7%. You run around more to evade but they both run in. Wile E. uses his tar but you jump! Mickey got caught!

"Aw, dude!" Beast Boy complains.

You hammer Wile E. away so he can't set up the big bomb, and then you down hammer Mickey! They're at 35% and 55% respectively. Then you run off again while they're both recovering.

"Have at thee, Mouse!" you say as you jump at Mickey.

"Bring it on, rabbit!" Beast Boy says back.

You mash attack buttons and occasionally jump, as does Beast Boy, and it is quite the fiery exchange between the iconic cartoon characters.

"Ooh, ooh, look out!" Cyborg says as he watches; it's hard to tell who he was addressing.

The 55% damage done to Mickey prior is a big advantage for you in this brawl. Bugs ends up going from zero to 27% but Mickey's already into the 70s. You dodge a big punch but Beast Boy dodges the big hammering.

"Slam Jam!" Raven says, even pointing at the screen.

"Wow, I didn't think you'd get into it," you say.

You learned your lesson last time that going for the Slam Jam leaves you open. So instead, you play defense and you smack Mickey away, bringing him to 80%. Cyborg tries to get Wile E. over to the jar but you jump and hammer him away to bring him to 47%. You then jump and grab the jar! Bugs tastes the jam, smiles to show he likes it, and then he eats it all up.

"Alright," you say. "Now, how to use it...?"

"Just press any attack button," Beast Boy says.

"But obviously," Cyborg says, "every character has a different super move, so you gotta use them wisely."

"In that case," you say, "I'll make sure I'm up close!"

A) Go after Mickey
B) Go after Wile E.

You have Bugs run at Wile E. but Cyborg does his best to avoid you. You keep pushing forward and Wile E. gets caught up in the basketball hoop, and you jump to use the attack!

"Meeeh, what's up, doc?" Bugs says.

Bugs sits Wile E. down in a barber's chair.

"Oh, a reference to Rabbit of Seville," you say. "Very clever."

Bugs puts the big over Wile E. and spins him around a few times. Then Bugs lathers up Wile E's hair on the top of his head, massages his scalp, and Wile E. looks very comfortable. And then Bugs brings out the hammer to swing and hit Wile E. off screen like a homerun! And as Wile E. passes 100% damage, he explodes and has strike two!

"Aw man," Cyborg grumbles.

"Gotcha now, Bunny!" Beast Boy shouts!

Mickey Mouse blasts you with a HUGE star! Bugs gets hit with a lot of damage and is sent flying off screen to explode! Now you have two strikes!

"What in the world?" you say.

"Mickey can charge up his star shooter attack for an even bigger attack," Cyborg says flatly. "It's why he's such a pain."

"Well I'm seeing that now," you say.

Wile E. respawns, then Bugs follows.

A) Go after Mickey for revenge
B) Finish off Wile E.

You jump right at Mickey and start swinging! Mickey dodges but you pursue. His 80% damage holds him back so you get him with a few good hammer smacks. You get him to 95% but he shoots back to deal 10%. You figure out some kind of digging move!

"Oooh, very nice," you say.

Bugs busts out from underground and clips Mickey! He's at 108%, but he doesn't explode!

"You gotta knock him towards the edge!" Cyborg says.

"Oh, of course," you say, seeing it for yourself.

You hurry after but Mickey goes up and over. Mickey shoots at Bugs and Wile E, hitting each of you for a few more points. You're at 15%, Wile E. is at 5%. Wile E. hits back with some tar! You rush up to WHAM, hammer Mickey and send him flying! Now he explodes, and now he has his second strike.

"So it all comes down to this," Cyborg says.

"Yeah," Beast Boy says as Mickey respawns.

A) Keep after Mickey
B) Go after Wile E.
C) Be on defense

You stay away as Wile E. goes after Mickey, but Mickey goes after you. You continue to drop back but are near the edge. You use that digging move to evade, Wile E. throws TNT and it blows Mickey up for 23%! Bugs emerges and you hammer Wile E. away for 11%. You then run away to the far side to be on the hoop.

"C'mon!" Beast Boy shouts as he rushes over.

Wile E. also chases after Bugs, but you use the digging move again. They wait it out, you surface but miss, and then they both hit you with their attacks! You end up at 36% very quickly! Bugs flies off to the left but stays on screen. Mickey shoots stars at Wile E. to put him to 23%, then he runs at Bugs. You jump but so does he and he slaps you, so now you're 40%. You kick him back, Mickey's at 28%. There's more dodging, Wile E. comes back and throws a lot of tar!

Wile E. tosses out a ton of TNT and both Bugs and Mickey get hit for a lot of damage! 70% and 59%, respectfully! Mickey gets up first and he shoots back at Wile E. Wile E. falls back, you jump up and bop Mickey. He's at 63%, but he comes back to slap Bugs to 74%. You swing the hammer wildly but only hit Mickey once to push him to 69%.

Wile E. throws more TNT but you and Mickey evade. You both go after Wile E. since he's got less damage. Wile E. jumps and throws more tar. You get stuck but Mickey doesn't, and more TNT hits you! You get sent flying and explode off screen!

"Aww...!" you say as you're not out of the running.

"Well, we should probably get going then," Raven says.

"But the round's not over," you, Beast Boy and Cyborg all say together.

"It is for Rorek," Raven says. "And we should get ready for dinner with his family."

"I suppose," you say.

You and Raven get up and go around the couch, but you linger to watch the screen as the battle continues.

"Let Robin and Starfire know we said hi," Raven says.

"Yes," you say as Mickey dodges more TNT. "And if anything, if you have nothing else to eat, you can stop by- Oh, nice dodge of the stars! Uh, stop by the restaurant. We'll have some good vegetable dishes so everyone can enjoy. Oh, and if we don't see you before Christmas Eve, let's make sure to exchange gifts..."

"... here at the tower. My place will be rather packed with my family visiting. We'll work out the details later."

"Okay, let's go," Raven says.

You turn away from the TV just as Mickey fires more stars. You go with Raven to the elevator, back down to the garage, and back to Shadowfax to ride into town.

"We're stopping by the house," you say. "We can change into something slightly more formal."

"Right," Raven says. "So what would you like? T-shirt dress? Normal dress?"

"I think a normal dress would be best," you say. "A T-shirt dress is rather casual. We can be casual for Christmas and Christmas Eve."

"That makes sense," she says.

You arrive and pull into the garage. You both head inside and to your bedroom.

"Oh, there you are," your sisters both say.

"Oh, of course, I should've realized," you say. "You two have your stuff here. So, have you two freshened up and picked things out?"

"Yes," they both say.

"Alright," you say. "Then we four can go to the restaurant to meet the family."

"Okay," they both say.

They go back to their room, you and Raven go to yours. She picks out her blue tier-hemmed dress and you get out a full suit of slacks, dress shirt and jacket. With your sisters here, you can't change there, but you suppose it isn't a big deal to change in the same room as Raven after seeing each other in various forms of undress. But you still give her some privacy by looking the other way as you hurry to change.

"Rorek," Raven says. "Could you help me zip up?"

You look over and see a hint of Raven's underwear while the dress is open at the back. She looks over her shoulder at you and you smile softly as you walk over. You grab the zipper and slowly pull it up.

"Okay, behave yourself," Raven says with a smirk.

"Oh, come on," you say. "I wouldn't do anything with my sisters in the next room."

"Do you not remember our time up at Oregon and the Timberline Lodge?" Raven asks.

"Hmm... Good point."

You finish zipping the dress, then you and Raven exit the room. Your sisters are dressed, and you wait on the Escalade to arrive. You tell your father your sisters will ride with your and Raven in the car, and then you lead the way to the restaurant.

Things are a bit busy as you pull in, but in a way that's a good thing. You pull into your spot in the employee lot and your father finds a spot not too far away on the sidewalk. You have everyone go around to the front entrance, though; your family may be VIPs but no VIPs would want to go through the kitchen.

"Welcome, Chef," Elena welcomes. "And welcome, everyone. We have a table waiting for you over here."

You follow Elana into the VIP section, and you have a table for eight all set near the back. In reality, it's two rectangular tables usually meant for four put end to end to make a longer rectangle. The parents and grandparents sit on one side, you, Raven and your sisters sit on the other.

"Would you like to introduce the menu, Chef?" Elena asks.

"No, no, you may, Elena," you say.

"Okay," she says. "The main dish for tonight is the Jewel Butter Seafood Bowl: slow roasted salmon meunire, lightly buttered squid liver sautee, soy sauce pickled salmon roe, and sushi rice. There are three side dishes to choose from: Insalata Frittata, which is eggs, cheese, and a salad mixed together; Tomates Farcies, a type of stuffed tomatoes full of Mediterranean spices, herbs, and noodles; and a Curry Bread Calzone, a pizza sourdough crust stuffed with tomatoes, a curry of potatoes and carrots, seasoned with cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves."

"Very good," you say.

As everyone considers their order for side dish, you choose
