"RAITON!"

The lightning bursts from the arrows and three of the four hit Cat Man! Cat Man is knocked back by that energy and he lands hard on his back. He growls and groans as he struggles to turn over and get to his feet. You ride up and jump off Shadowfax to tackle Cat Man back down!

You and Cat Man struggle, which is--pardon the pun--shocking after what he just took. He manages to turn over onto his back!

"Pocket sand!" he shouts!

And he throws sand right in your face! You rear back and cough as you try to wipe it all away.

"Is this cat litter?!" you shout.

Cat Man knocks you over from behind but you can hear Shadowfax whinny. Cat Man avoids Shadowfax while you gather water from moisture in the air. You use that water to wash your eyes out, but you're still blurry as you see Cat Man as a yellow blob running and Shadowfax giving chase.

You use some more water to wash the litter sand from your eyes but it sure stings. Cat Man quickly dodges around Shadowfax, but Starfire rushes in. Cat Man uses his cape like a matador's to sweep and send Starfire in the wrong direction. Cyborg shoots his sonic cannon and knocks Cat Man over. Cat Man shoots his grappling hook but Robin swats it down before it gets too far. The Titans then all gather and circle around Cat Man.

"Give it up, Cat Man," Robin says. "You're not superior to Batman, and I should know."

"Well, you did have a wild card I didn't anticipate," Cat Man says, clearly referencing you. "But you all played your cards too soon!"

As if on cue, a bright orange car bursts through Cyborg's perimeter wall!

"Oh c'mon!" Robin shouts. "That looks just like the Batmobile, painted like it's Garfield the Cat!"

"And it's headed this way!" Beast Boy shouts.

"Well," you say before you grab Cat Man with a big mana constract.

*WHAM* You drive Cat Man into the ground.

"He's not going anywhere," you say.

Raven adds on with a layer of chains per Binding Magic. These chains are anchored into the ground with big bolts, too.

"Then we just need to bash his cat mobile!" Cyborg says as he takes aim.

Cyborg and Starfire open fire, but the cat car's "whiskers" extend out from the bumper and wings- er, fenders. These whiskers emit some kind of energy, and it neutralizes the energy of the attacks!

"Seriously?!" Cyborg shouts. "Fine, two can play at this game!"

Cyborg presses a button on his forearm and the T-Car drives its way towards you all! The T-Car brings out sonic cannons of its own to shoot at the cat car from behind! But it evades!

"That's a really smart car," you say.

Raven mumbles and grumbles as she shakes her head and waves her arms. That's when you realize she still has the seal on her mouth.

"What is it, girl?" Beast Boy asks. "Did Timmy fall in a well?"

Raven glares at him.

"Sorry, just didn't think there was another time for a Lassie joke," Beast Boy shrugs.

Raven looks at you and points at the cat car as the T-Car chases after it. Then she makes a motion of holding onto something with both hands and going around in a semi-circle.

"Steering?" you say.

She nods.

"Someone's steering, meaning someone's in the cat car driving it!" you say, to which she nods even more.

"In that case," Robin says as he rushes over, "get ready to close your eyes!"

Robin throws out a lot of canisters and they explode with bright light! He had a point about closing your eyes, you squint and shield your face with a hand. And that bright light seems to throw off whoever is driving the cat car! The car spins to its right and skids to a stop! The T-Car then shoots out a big net! But two people jump out before the net hits the car and zaps it!

A woman dressed in a green yukata and knee high boots, but most noticeably in a full kabuki mask that resembles the grinning cat from Alice in Wonderland, rolls and stands up, big claw weapons peeking out from the end of the long sleeves.

"Cheshire?!" the Titans blurt out, other than Raven as her response is muffled.

"Y'know, that makes sense," you say. "Cat Man did steal Cheshire Cat related art, and clearly, she's cat themed, too."

"Oh..." the Titans say, seeing what you mean.

And then the other, a younger woman, is in a pink kunoichi outfit, with short skirt, black waist sash and tape wrapped on her arms and hands. And she has her own cat mask, but it only covers her nose and mouth. You can see her blue eyes, and her blonde hair is up in a couple pigtails-

"Oh, of course..." you and the Titans all groan. "Kitten!!"

"Chigau! <Wrong!>" she shouts. "My name is Koneko the nyan-ja!"

"The word 'koneko' is literally Japanese for 'kitten,'" Starfire points out.

Kitten nervously mutters as she's clearly been caught the fastest she's ever been caught.

"Whatever!" she shouts in a huff while stamping her feet. "You're not stopping the Clowder's crime spree!"

"Clowder?" Starfire asks.

"It's what a group of cats is called," Beast Boy says quickly.

"Ah, of course," Starfire says.

"Well, there's also a 'herding cats' pun in here somewhere, but let's skip it for now," Robin says.

"Right," you say. "Two of them, six of us, that's three and three!"

You notice Cat Man wriggling, trying to get free, and you hit him with a Disorientation spell! While he groans in dizziness, you rush in to battle...

... Cheshire, alongside Beast Boy and Cyborg.

Beast Boy transforms into a green wolf to rush forward, and then he becomes a green python! Cheshire avoids Beast Boy's lunge, but there's so much python left that she has to jump over before he can coil up. But that leaves her open and Cyborg shoots her with a sonic blast. She goes flying backwards but she manages to twist and land on her feet. Beast Boy slithers forward while you and Cyborg move to flank Cheshire.

Cheshire suddenly turns invisible! Oh, of course, it's what the Cheshire Cat can do in the story. But Beast Boy, being a python, can track her with scent and thermal vision! You watch as he slithers after her. She drops her invisibility and thrusts a claw! Beast Boy turns into a weasel to avoid the claw, and then he scurries around her. Cyborg shoots more sonic cannon blasts but Cheshire dodges with very flexible leaning and flipping.

You throw three magical charges her way, but Cheshire spins to use her hair braids to swat those away! You have them dissipate into nothing and create new ones. Beast Boy returns to being a python to keep Cheshire more or less contained in one spot. She keeps pulling off Matrix movie worthy back leans to avoid Cyborg's blasts, and she does try to stab at Beast Boy again. Beast Boy is forced to be a weasel again and scamper away.

Cyborg launches a bolas but Cheshire turns invisible again! The bolas doesn't hit anything so she clearly dodged it. But you hear her running through the grass!

"She's heading for Cat Man!" you shout. "Send everything that way!"

Cyborg shoots more bolas and you throw a net-like construct! But Cheshire somehow outruns all of that! She returns to being visible as she brings out her claws, and she slashes at the chains Raven put on! The chains break, and Cat Man pushes up!

"Avalon, Osaia, Agrisor, Erum!" you shout for Gravity Magic!

Cat Man grunts as he's pressed back down under the construct from earlier! You let off the Gravity Magic so you don't wear out your arms. Beast Boy swoops in as a green hawk and forces Cheshire to back away from Cat Man.

"I think this is what Robin was getting at about herding cats," you say.

"Udwa, Druid Spirit of Nature," you say, "I require your assistance!"

Udwa sprouts from the grass of the park to form a fluffy bush with flowers all over.

"I am here, Seventh Rorek," says in her silky smooth voice. "Oh my, what is going on here?"

"I need you to help me and the Teen Titans stop these villains," you say.

"Oh, I rather dislike fighting," Udwa says.

"It's alright," you say. "I just need you to keep that one down."

You point to Cat Man, and Udwa has the grass grow and become a layer of straps holding down the construct on top of him.

"Good," you say. "And I need you to keep that one from running away."

Cheshire avoids grass sprouting up at her, but then Udwa makes the grass grow straight up to form a wall behind her. She slashes the grass with her claws, but it just grows back.

Udwa forms more walls and you rush in. Cheshire sidesteps but you kick off the back wall and get Cheshire with a flying arm-drag! You keep hold of that arm but you have to avoid Cheshire's other claws! You grab that other arm, drag Cheshire up and swing her into a wall of grass. Though, because it's just grass, it's soft.

Cheshire swings her claw, which you duck, but her hair braid comes around to smack you in the face! You roll through the impact, jump over her claw thrust, and then Cyborg tackles Cheshire through the grass wall!

"Got her!" he says as he clamps shackles onto her.

"Two down," you say as the grass falls away, "one to go."

You look over to where Raven, Starfire and Robin are battling Kitten as her new ninja gimmick.

Kitten throws in a lot of acrobatic moves to evade Robin's staff strikes and Starfire's kicks. She throws ninja stars but Raven easily catches those out of the air with her magic.

"Udwa," you ask the spirit, "perhaps you could assist in containing our target. She's the one in the pink ninja costume."

"I shall see what I can do, Seventh Rorek."

The flowery bush shuffles its way over in that direction. Kitten jumps over another staff swing, and the moment she lands, the grass wraps up her feet!

"Hey!" she says.

Kitten uses a knife to cut at the grass and gets free. She runs to avoid being grabbed again, then throws together some rather strange hand signs, to create copies of herself?!

"Shadow clones?!" Beast Boy shouts.

"No, just illusions," Udwa says.

The grass trips the real Kitten and she falls flat on her face while the other Kittens don't even react. The illusions run right at Robin, but they passes right through him.

"They're not just illusions," he says, "they're holograms."

"This is so not fair!" Kitten says. "I have so many more ninja gadgets to use!"

"Who cares?!" you and the Titans shout at her.

"Oh, right," you say, looking at Raven. "Your mouth is still sealed up."

"I'm on it," Cyborg says.

Cyborg uses the same salve solution that helped you, and now Raven's mouth is finally free.

"Finally!" she says with a big sigh.

"What're we supposed to do to keep Kitten from breaking out of places?" you ask.

"Well, we thought flash freezing them was the answer," Beast Boy says, "but they're all clearly thawing out."

"We'll just have to send them to the same maximum security prison as the others," Robin says. "But first, we need to know where that drone sent the stolen items."

"Hah," Cat Man says. "We'll never tell! They'll disappear, just like the Cheshire Cat itself!"

"I'm sensing a transmitter on that utility belt," Cyborg says.

"What?!" Cat Man blurts out.

"I've copied the signal," Cyborg says. "We can track this thing down and back to where they belong."

"It is the Christmas miracle!" Starfire says.

"Star, it's not Christmas yet," Robin says.

"And this doesn't really qualify as a miracle," Raven says.

"Thank you for the help, Udwa," you say. "You are dismissed."

"Thank you, Seventh Rorek," she says.

Udwa's bush shrinks away as the Druid Spirit takes her leave.

"This should be easy enough to deal with," Robin tells you. "We know you need to get back to your sisters."

"Thank you," you say. "See everyone later then."

"Night, Rorek," Raven says before giving you a good night kiss on the cheek.

Shadowfax returns to your side, you hop on and trot back to the road before turning him back into a motorocycle and riding back home.

You pull into the garage and carefully park Shadowfax at the back. The garage door closes, you enter the hall and go to the living room. Not to your surprise, the lights are still on, there is a plate on the coffee table with cookie crumbs all over it, and two glasses of milk on either side. Your sisters are on the couch, snuggled together under a blanket, completely out cold asleep.

You sigh, but then chuckle, as you expected this much. You quietly take the plate and glasses to the kitchen and place them in the sink for a quick spray down with water. You then go back to your sisters and consider how to get them to their room.

In the end, you move the blanket aside and use Levitation magic to lift them both gently off the couch. You make sure to cradle them rather than just lift them like ragdolls, and you carefully move them down the hall. You forget who was on which side of the bed, you just set them down as they were on the couch with Rebecca on the left.

As they touch down on the bed, they each settle in, instinctively turning towards each other and holding hands.

"Good night, girls," you whisper as you tuck them in.

After that, you turn off the television and lights in the living room, then wash up and brush your teeth. You go to your room, change into your sleep clothes, and turn in for the night.

The next morning, you're up first again, and you shower first. You dress and go to the kitchen to get breakfast going even before your sisters wake up.

You decide to go with the good ol' fashioned bacon and eggs, it's all much quicker than pancakes or waffles.

You enjoy the smell of the bacon sizzling on the skillet while you whisk scrambled eggs. Your sisters grumble their way to the dining room.

"Did you get us to our room? they both ask you.

"Yes," you say. "How many cookies did you two eat?"

"Only six," Roselind says.

"Each," Rebecca adds with a big smile.

"You two probably didn't brush your teeth or shower," you say. "Make sure to be extra thorough after you eat breakfast."

"Okay," they both say as they take a seat at the table.

You put the scrambled eggs on a separate skillet to get them cooking. You check the drink options in the refrigerator. Milk is still good, and there's plenty of orange juice so you bring those out. You give the OJ a good shake since it has pulp, and set those on the counter. Your sisters pour themselves their own drinks, Roselind going with orange juice and Rebecca going for milk.

*ding dong* You hear the doorbell and you go to the front door. You open it and Raven's there in jeans and a long sleeve tee.

"Good morning," you say. "What great timing, breakfast is still cooking."

"Yeah, I can smell it," she says with a smile.

You and Raven walk back to the dining room.

"Good morning, Raven," your sisters say.

"Morning, you two," she says. "Wait, are you still wearing the same things from last night?"

"They passed out on the couch after eating a dozen cookies," you say.

"Each?" Raven asks.

"No!" your sisters giggle. "Total."

You serve up some scrambled eggs and bacon to Raven and your sisters, then get another round going, knowing your parents and grandparents will be on their way.

"Rory," Roselind asks. "Can we just relax after the Disney museum?"

"Yeah," Rebecca says. "We've been doing a lot of running around, we should just have a lazy afternoon before Christmas."

"You two were running around?" you say. "Raven and I were literally chasing villains last night."

"Which does make a lazy afternoon sound nice," Raven says.

"I wouldn't mind that," you say. "Our parents and grandparents can do whatever they like this afternoon, we'll all be lazy here."

"Yay~!" your sisters say.

You hear a car pull up and see the Cadillac. You open the door and welcome your parents and grandparents in.

"Mmm~, bacon!" Grandfather Sixth says.

"I had a feeling Sixth would be into that," you say. "There's plenty coming, so eat up."

"No, he needs to watch his cholesterol," grandmother says.

"I was very good before we flew out here," Sixth says. "I can indulge for the holidays."

You serve up more plates and then finally join them all at the table.

"I hope you all don't mind," you say to your parents and grandparents, "but the four of us would like to just relax here after our visit to the Disney museum."

"Oh," your mother says. "Well, that's fine. Are you sure you won't be bored here?"

"We'll be fine, mum," Rebecca says.

"We can work on our knitting kits and put together our little stuffed animals," Roselind says.

"Oh, that's right," you say. "The octopus and the T-Rex. And I do have my paint pendulum I could try out."

"Oh, you got a painting pendulum?" Raven says. "I actually have a great idea for a bonus Christmas gift we can give the Titans."

"Oh?" you say.

"We can make them each a mandala," she says with a beaming smile.

"As in the geometric configuration of symbols?" you ask.

"Yeah!" she says. "Now, obviously, it doesn't have to be for spiritual focus and guidance. In many ways, mandalas are great as just works of art. Like, a kaleidoscope snapshot."

"Hmm... I kinda like that," you say. "Yeah, we can spend the afternoon making lovely Christmas mandalas."

"Alright!" she says. "Is it bad that I look forward to that more than the Disney museum?"

Everyone has a chuckle, and you all eat up.

"Wait," your mother says. "Are you two still in what you were wearing last night?"

You and Raven can't help but laugh there.

After your sisters take showers, separately, and then dress for the day, they join you and Raven in the car and you lead the way for your father in the Escalade.

You arrive at the Walt Disney Family Museum and find some parking spots up close. Although it's the holidays, the museum isn't that busy, so your family should have a smooth visit.

You walk up the steps to the clean, red brick building. You walk inside, your father takes care of paying for tickets, and then you move to seeing the galleries and exhibits.

There's a lovely stretch that is essentially the timeline of Walt Disney's life. Growing up in Marceline, Missouri, moved to Hollywood and opened a studio, then created the iconic Mickey Mouse. Walt Disney Studios grew just as Walt himself became a father, and after four years of working on it, the feature-length animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, debuted. And as they say, the rest is history.

"Rorek, look," Raven says as you move to the next area. "This exhibit has a sort of mandala design."

You look over and see the poster for "Conserving the Magic of Our Planet: A Virtual Community Art Exhibition."

"Wow, that does fit the definition," you say. "An arrangement of symbols and shapes."

"Yeah," she says with another beaming smile. "We should give it a look."

"Alright," you say.

The two of you walk over and see that as a virtual exhibit, you simply use a computer screen and a lot of tapping to move around. The art is all nice enough, like "A Big Bird," which is a digital illustration of an ostrich. But you do like the very cute and very Disney-esque pair of paintings, "Before I Lost You" and "Have You Seen Others Like Me?" They're a very sweet tribute to the long extinct Tasmanian Tiger.

You click around to "walk" the gallery a bit more.

"Oh, wow, look at that one," Raven says. "Spiked Curve. Sogetsu Ikebana and assemblage art using zip-ties and iron nails. Sogetsu Ikebana is...?"

"A form of Japanese floral art," you say. "And I do see the techniques of Sogetsu. A sense of movement, the perfect and literal balance of elements, the harmony of those elements, and most of all, a fresh approach."

"Bringing in assemblage art is definitely a fresh approach," Raven says.

The next segment of the virtual exhibit is photography, and you see lovely photos of nature. One is a photo of a bee inspecting a lavendar flower, and another is a photo of a bee inspecting some yellow flowers. There are also great pictures of penguins in Antartica.

"Adorable," you say.

You close out the exhibit and move on with Raven to rejoin the others.

You all move into the Spirit of the Season exhibit, which is also a community driven gallery. Artists from all over California have submitted Christmas and holiday themed pieces to the museum. There is a lovely oil painting of fiddlers from Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, a black 'n' white pen illustration of a Christmas reef, and a skillfully made embroidery depicting a scene of Santa Claus bringing gifts, with the word "BELIEVE" at the top. The most skillful part of this embroidery is that it fits the scene inside the shape of a Christmas stocking.

"Aww," Roselind says with a giggle. "Look at this."

She directs your attention to the "Tigonlily," a sculpture of sorts made out of paper, felt, and tennis balls. It also has a pipe cleaner for a tail.

"It is rather whimsical," you say.

"I like the googly eyes," Rebecca giggles.

"Oh, look," you say. "There's a whole collection. There's a snail and an octopus."

You sisters giggle even more looking at the rest of the tennis ball animals.

"Wow~..." Raven says. "This one's amazing. 'A California Holiday,' watercolor, gouache, colored pencils, and metallic inks."

You look and see a snowman, with carrot nose, coal eyes and buttons, a top hat and broom, standing under a pepper tree with lush underbrush all around. There are christmas lights and ornaments hung in the tree, where the metallic inks come into play to give a shine effect under the gallery lights.

"Lovely," you say.

Your sisters giggle again.

"And what's so funny about this?" you say. "A snowman in California?"

"No," you sisters both giggle.

"The tree has a butt," Rebecca manages to say before snickering.

You look and see, just above the snowman's broom, two knots in the tree that do, in a way, resemble butt cheeks.

"Please try to be mature," you tell them.
