Not hiding in a corner that isn't going to fool any active shooter. I didnt want to do work in class that day so i kept asking about increasingly dumb scenarios like shooters rappelling through the windows from the roof, or using ladders to get to the windows... To be fair, the point is to hide out of sight of the doorway, in the hopes that the shooter thinks the room is empty and just keeps moving. Hell, even as an adult, our training is "Run, Hide, Fight" in order of which we should attempt first. Run to safety if possible, but if the shooter is between where you are and the exit, then hide. And if the shooter forces their way into your hiding spot, then fight back using improvised weapons (aka grab the heaviest object you can and try to knock them out before they shoot you).
