So I finally updated PLA past 1.0 to transfer Pokemon over to Sword. I had it on 1.0 for so long since horde hunting for shinies was so easy and so consistent, and my understanding is they fundamentally changed it in 1.1. But anyway I moved a bunch of shinies over to Sword, and it turns out that even though PLA doesn't display EVs, they still exist. So I need to get rid of all of the EVs on all of those Pokemon and retrain them. :|

Ayy the most important feature is returning. Pokemon followers. :D One Pokemon in your party can walk around with you.

This generation is shaping up to be a pretty good one by the look of things.

So it sounds like any Pokemon can have any type Tera forms. So if Flygon is returning for instance, you can have an electric tera type Flygon with levitate. And leakers are saying there are new universal moves of every type that can be used on any Pokemon.

I participated in a draft tournament with the Pokemon GO set. Coworkers and their friends. It was fun. I drafted a Lunatone Solrock deck and made it to second place. I'm riding the high and opening etbs and other stuff. Wasting my money but enjoying it. I need to buy a binder.

Yes. Hi Kimbo! I made a topic a couple weeks ago randomly saying yo. Now I'll sometimes pop in before I go to sleep and lurk for a couple minutes.

I finally figured out how to dexnav hunt in the Fiery Path. There's one corner where if you stand there and use the dexnav it will work almost 100% of the time, and seemingly doesn't work anywhere else.
Anyway because of that I got a shiny Torkoal and Diglett today. I'm only missing 14 Pokemon left to shiny hunt with dexnav. :0 I started shiny hunting in late August 2020, and since then I've found 584 different species shiny across various Gen 6, 7 and 8 games, with maybe about half of those with the dexnav in ORAS.

Shiny Slugma! Then I tried hunting for Koffings, which I'll need 3 of. For some reason the corner that worked for Torkoal, Diglett and Slugma just wasn't working for Koffings. in 50 minutes I encountered like.... 20 Koffings. =/

I'm sure I'll still have complaints, but this gen is looking a lot better than Sword/Shield, which I skipped out on.

Like my third Koffing I encountered today was shiny! Only shiny I got though. And yeah, Koffings are definitely harder to hunt for whatever reason. Usually in 2 hours I can get like 150-180 encounters of a Pokemon, even in caves where it's more annoying. I only encountered like 90 Koffings in 2 hours today.

Where exactly in the US do you live again? My assass-pokemon friends need to know your exact location and weaknesses.

Yeah I'm going to get Scarlet. I thought they were going to be completely new pokemon. I like the stone one slightly more than the two I like in Violet.

Have a Pokemon with Flame Body in the front of your party, ride a bike around. You will hatch 5 eggs in only a couple minutes. That's how it has worked for over 10 years.

At least Nintendo/Pokemon proper hasn't gone off the deep end like mobile Nintendo/Pokemon. Otherwise I'm sure they'd be more than willing to selling you some faster but limited use hatching tools or whatnot.

Had a free hour yesterday and was likescrew it Ill do some shiny hunting booted up ORAS and the cofagrigus island was up. Hunted about 40 encounters and got the shiny.

Also, the other day I saw a Moltres and a Zapdos. I caught neither.
