It's a very stupid show, but stupid in an entertaining way

it's like a bunch of boomers just sat around watching a whole lot of movies, saw how North American high school life was depicted, and just took it to heart as to how things really are and threw in the most overdramatized interpretation of it into a televised series

@Sad_Face He had one girlfriend and she did like him, but he physically abused her. He had no other GFs, and no girl played him; he just mistook general kindness as something more because he was a bitch.

I distinctly remember Emma being in on the plot to embarrass him. Hence why he was out for her blood.

Also, I have to mention that Manny was so hot in that show. God bless those genes of Cassie Steele (I'm surprised I remembered her name).

No she wasn't, in fact she was one of the only people to stand up for him when he was getting bullied. Jay, Spinner and Alex were the only ones who dumped the feathers on him. Emma comforted him after the incident, and being the beta bitch he is, Rick thought she was coming onto him and kissed her; he only wanted to kill her because she told him that she didn't like him like that

So he was just an incel bitch

There was a fat girl who liked him I think? He ended up pushing her and she hit her head on a rock I believe, I don't remember what happened to her after that.

I loved degrassi. The trick is to be 14 years old when you watch it, have you tried that!

I don't remember how "good" or "bad" it was, but when I was a young teenager it was the only like it for its time, and if there was another better one out there somewhere in the US then they fucked up advertising, because I watched TV all the time.

I learned about a lot "adult" things from Degrassi and it made it interesting. I mean do YOU guys remember another fucking teenage drama that had a "wet dream" episode? Because I sure don't.

The show did its job.

I enjoyed it for a summer when I was a teen. I remember being really into Paige and Manny.

I watched a clip some years later of J.T getting stabbed. That was pretty messed up.

It becomes a total joke in season 10. Really should have ended at season 7.

I mean, that's part of the charm.

Degrassi is a dumb angsty show about dumb angsty teens. By the time you're finishing high school you're kind of expected to be more or less grown out of it.

I honestly don't remember much after the original group all left. I recall a transgender guy and a gay football player that I thought was hot.

It actually did become a self aware parody while (most of) the original crew was there. They talked about how the school must be haunted because so many bad things happen there
