Those two snippets alone are all it takes to convey what kind of person she really is. Literal audio recordings of her gaslighting and tearing him down as much as she possibly can.

This is the most frightening thing about this case because it highlights exactly how people can be tricked.
A snippet does not tell it all. You need context, see here:

Firstly, when Heard calls Depp out to his face about how out of control he was I really did think I was gonna lose my life, he doesnt even acknowledge it as an alarming statement.
Then Heard speaks, in shock, about Depp deeming their fight to be a fair one. Implying that he had been far more aggressive than her. No rebuttal/denial, once again, from Depp.

But lets just focus on the snippet making the social media rounds and popping up in Court every other day:

When most talk about this, the emphasis is being put on the *man part and nobody bats an eye during the Im a victim, too part.
Too. Heard isnt using this private moment between her and Depp as a way to profess some gendered opinion on DV, shes in utter disbelief that Depps defense of his own violence is you hit me back.

How is this being blindly ignored? Why would Heard decide to make a random societal statement in the middle of a private argument?? It baffles me that people (and lawyers) can listen to this audio and decide its pro-Depp?

I've seen women on Tik Tok listening to Heard's recounting of sexual abuse and be like, "that sounds sexy". Like, be regardless if it's true, to listen to someone describing a rape and be like "damn that sounds like a good time" is really fucked up.

This seems really reductionist. Most people seemed perfectly willing to accept Depp as the abuser until the audio snippet leaked, which caused everyone's opinions to flip.

When people explain that the dismissal of abuse will have ramifications against women in the future they get told not to infantilize them
When people show years of evidence of Depp being a toxic individual who attacked people for years, they get told it didn't happen
When people admit that Heard could have attacked back and increased the cycle of abuse they get told she was worse and Depp is an angel

I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm not going to listen to hours of audio to find little grains of half-evidence that might lean toward abuse. None of the snippets you cited in your post feel like they're proof of Depp being significantly abusive or harmful.

And that's why Depp pushed for this to be recorded, so he can win the court of public opinion no matter that he'll lose in the legal system. Because laypeople are not going to put in the effort to form an educated opinion on the case, they want a quick soundbite and jump onto memes like the shit in the bed.

I'd say the trial is about more than these two people. It's a bit of a proxy for the larger culture wars.

From her claiming she thought her nose was broken (to looking perfectly fine in photos a day later) to her claiming she was hit more times than she could remember by Depp and having no marks to show.

They also destroyed all credibility she has, she said she would donate all of Depps $7 million to organizations and didnt donate any of it.

Shes doing absolutely everything she can to look absolutely insane and a narcissistic monster in this case.

Yeah, I think that dude is buying into the narrative that Heard has been trying to sell. He lost credibility with me when he posted a UK article.

There has been little to no evidence to back up Heard's claims, whereas Johnny has always been consistent and so have the witnesses for backing up his claims.

No matter how the trial goes, prepare yourself for hearing her referred to as Amber Turd or wasnt she that girl that pooped in the bed for the rest of her life (or as long as anyone remembers her name, which might not be long as she isnt a good actress). Having that stigma for a long time will be a huge punishment, even if she does come out of the case clean.

This is the part that gets me the most.

I know for a fact that some of the same people trying to pull the "who cares" or "both sides" card were practically parading in the streets when the accusations first came out years ago because they hated Depp *that* much or because they simped hard for Heard.
