Self-driving cars can't come quick enough

I laugh in the face of anyone that goes "I trust myself more than a robot". You're not everyone and a most people are hazards on the road.

Smartphones entered "proletariat" prices around that time.

People have been driving with phones in their cars for years already.

That's just smartphones though. Cell phones were still a thing for years before that point. People have been driving with phones in their cars for years already.

People didn't really browse twitter or the internet on dumb phones.

But they didn't remotely do it like people do on smart phones.

People literally watch Netflix Hulu HBOmax and YouTube while texting-and-Driving.

I want a motorcycle so bad but I cannot trust anyone on the road and have too much to lose.

If we just ban cars and go back to bicycles and horse carriages, there would be far less fatalities.

I use a crosswalk every day going to work, crossing when I have the right of way, and I've almost been splatted by inattentive drivers many times. It's because drivers who want to turn right only make sure no cars are coming, and don't even look out for pedestrians right in front of them.
