They were my toy of choice growing up, probably because they were generally less expensive than Transformers. I loved putting the vehicles together and sticking the decals on. I even sent away for a few of the special offers like Serpentor.

I never had the toys but I watched the show.

Never had GI Joes. I have a Transformers collection though.

My brother and I had lots of them, though only the figures and not the vehicles.

my brother had some i think. I dont think I did. I vaguely remember sometimes watching the show but I was pretty young i think during the height of Joe Fever

The main 80s franchise i remember being way into was TMNT, though that was later in the decade

I had a big box I kept of all the GI Joe ID cards with all their information. When you bought one the back of the package was the card.

Was born in 89. Was into TMNT in the 90s though. Sorry TMHT /facepalm at UK censors of the time.

I was born in 85. I have about 50 G.I. Joes currently in my apartment.

No just wasn't big on the figures. Most of my physical toys back then were board games.

I loved the shit out of connect 4.

I also have those! My new motus are all on the bookcase next to me, and my vintage ones are in ziplocs in storage. My transformers are also in storage in my apartment.

Nah, I was more of a Ninja Turtles guy.

I had probably 30 or so and a few vehicles. I hated the decals that required water like a temporary tattoo.

Maybe a couple figures which had crazy articulation at the time (it sucked if you broke the bands in them though).

I had cobra commander and someone with a helicopter backpack.

That was it for those guys, but I was born in 85 and I dont think that really counts.

I always thought they seemed really cool and had friends that had a decent number of them, and I always wanted some but my parents were weird and super strict until I was I dunno 10 or 12 or something? They eventually lightened up, but by then I had moved on. Wasnt allowed to watch the cartoon, either.

A fuck ton. Still have quite a few, a helicopter, the snow tank thing, and something else Im forgetting. They were my shit. The NES game also was probably my favorite NES game.

Still got them boxed up in closet.

I was more into He-Man and Thundercats, then TMNT turtles came along. G.I. Joe never had a chance.

Never got into Gi Joe's but I had Turtles and Real Ghostbuster toys. I'm currently working on completing the whole set of Real Ghostbusters for my toy room, I'm about 30 figures away!

i had a ton of ghostbusters also. really dug the ghosts/monsters. the football player and toilet were my favs

I also have every original TMNT figure, except for the gimmick ones that didn't hold up (springs, transforming turtles and moving parts, etc).

I was a TNMT kid when it came to action figures. I don't think I ever had or wanted any other action figures. I was also into Ghostbusters, but I strictly liked the toy versions of the equipment and wasn't really interested in action figures of schlubby exterminators. I wanted to BE the schlubby exterminator.

My brothers and I had many G.I. Joe figures. We liked to take the screw out of the back, then mix pieces from different figures onto the same torso.

Quite a few, yeah.

In France in tge 80s, weird time as Super Sentai shows were huge and we all had action figure based on them, and Transformers.

Have the Air Craft Carrier U.S.S. FLAGG.
We have it still set up in the kids playroom. When my kids were little my beagle would go in the playroom and lay on it while watching the kids play video games. When Bagel died we put her Urn in the spot she use to watch the kids play or her fall fall asleep in.

Yeah I still have most of my GI Joes. I sold a few though when I was unemployed.

The market for them is fucking insane right now. Even some loose ones in shitty condition sell for damn near $100. If you have a few you're not attached to this is the time to unload.

I also had a bunch of G1 Transformers with their boxes that I sold as a lot a few years ago. Regretting that since I could have handled it better.

Had dozens of G.I. Joe figures, use to have wars with my Transformers.

Are you sure that was GI Joe? All the vehicles I had were like models you had to put together and didn't do that

well the only thing that makes me remember that toy was because it's GI Joe.

My older brother had several and made me play with him. But I always had to be cobra and he had to always win.

My brother and I had a bunch of them, and I'd say a solid 3/4 of them were missing one or both thumbs

oh and Micro Machines and Legos

I basically had whatever I wanted when I was little. My grandparents spoiled the hell out of me for being the first grandchild. Every weekend was go to grandmas directly after school, go out to dinner then Toys R Us. New toy(s) every weekend be it G.I.Joe, Transformers, Wrestlers, TMNT.

I was pretty much my grandparents 5th child growing up.
