I've thought about this before while doing a watchthrough and decided for me that it's Treehouse of Horror V. That's the one that has The Shinning, Time and Punishment and Nightmare Cafeteria. The Shinning is just such a well done parody, Time and Punishment is just constant laughs for 7 minutes and Nightmare Cafeteria is legit pretty scary with some good laughs too. ... I remember having a similiar reaction rewatching the rosebud one ...tons of jokes. Season 8 is pretty gold too. My favorite one for the longest time on the initial run was lisa the vegetarian. Dont know why just remember really liking it and laughing hard every time it played. It was one of those episodes that was really funny because you already knew the characters so well and everything just sort of clicked --- "well, yeah, and a lot of minorities go to see minstrel shows, too." - PyroSpoon ...
