being 2d does not mean they are not souls-like. for example, hollow knight is pretty much just 2d dark souls and metroidvania

13 million first week.

Looks like all that free promotion everyone decided to give From Soft by calling everything Souls-like paid off. People wanted to drink from the source. Though, I personally think people are stupid with it, I'm not mad it got my favorite series coming up. The games keep getting better and selling more. A small justice in the world lol
